@9UncleSam7 I assume you are talking about the Ludwig drum. I got it at a garage sale. I believe I paid $10 for it, a pair of sticks and a method book. I see them available on eBay from time to time and they usually got for about $100.
@hookedupphat Good luck with your test. Be sure to ask what tempo they expect you to perform it at. I put this on here for some of my younger students and purposely played it at a slower tempo.

@MichaelESawan Thank you. No there is no muffler or any type of dampening with the drum.
The tone is more due to head and snare tension...along with the drum itself.
