so sad to see them all playfull and happy and then like this, just breaks my heart
but he clearly loves you :3 nice to have that bond with a owner, people who cant respect animals will never understand how we care for our little flurry freinds
Poor baby..my ferret Ivory is balding and doesnt go around the house like she used to. Same with my ferret Coco. It seems they're in pain though. I guess that's just me being paranoid
It's hard to say. After his first surgery, he didn't grow fur back for a few months. He never grew all of it back, but he had decent coverage for a few months. Then he began losing more fur, and I opted for a second surgery. That gland was actually inside his vena cava, so they couldn't remove it. That was in March, and he went almost entirely bald since then.
No. We don't keep them within easy reach. The more agile, younger ferrets will jump on the coffee table, knock the bags of treats off, and then whoever is on the floor will try to break into the bag.
Now I dont want a ferret.... it makes me cry...

How common is this disease in ferrets?

@Duraka88
I'm not sure, but about half of the ferrets I've owned had it.

I always find bald ferrets to be cute, even though it means something is very wrong with them
I have very much enjoyed the videos of this little guy. I bet he is having a blast stealing treats on the rainbow bridge :D

@Boonie6669 You need to get them to a vet ASAP, adrenal deisease can be really bad if not treated.
