I wouldn't of minded if the movie Mach 5 looked just like the original =/
But of course they had to change the way the cars looked just a little bit, because they think that nobody will buy the movie toys if they look just like the cartoon incarnations.

Wasn't it another cartoon a lot like these but when raced at arenas with monsters and underwater facing machines with cool specialties. It was also about a car and i think it was called mach 5 or something, does anybody know then please tell me cause i cant find it :(

I have the same picture at 0:33 that went out in an email some years ago! The specs are very close. They even have the Shooting Star with correct specs!! Better than that crappy movie car.

I want my "real" Mach 5, but I guess I'll have to do with the movie version. That Corvette conversion was going for something like $125,000. Maybe one day.
