Thanks for this video!!! Always had trouble making rice, always turned out either uncooked or too sticky but I made this and it was perfect. Think what I was doing wrong was that I didn't have exact measurements before for a water to rice ratio and I never could resist the urge to stir when really as your video shows, stirring isn't needed at all during the cooking. Not sure if the rice you used is superior to the brand we always have on hand but long grain jasmine rice worked fine for me.
Thanks I got rid of my rice cooker a long time ago ... in fact about to go make a batch now for pork fried rice Friday. The rice I used in the video is an expensive brand I found in an Asian market ... actually didn't know it was $10 for 5 pounds when I got to the cashier but it's excellent. Thai Jasmine long grain is what I usually have, like yours. Thanks for watching.
Hi glad you found me! There have been new recipes added since so check them out. I've heard of washing rice, tried it, didn't make enough difference for me. Also heard it removes nutrients.
Question: Is it 2 1/3 cups of rice or two 1/3 cups (like 2/6)?
Thanks

Glad to see you back, Scott. I went to your channel and it said you were suspended! NO!
I like to rinse my rice until the water is clear to remove the starch. Turns out a lot better.
