When we live in a world that literally revolves around money, people need to be supported with money, especially when they don't have it.

Being concerned about government spending should be the least thing that people are worried about.

Take care of your fellow Americans. Give them their unemployment.

Hi, all the Republicans said was "OK, you want to extend it? then take the money out of TARP or some other pile of cash already voted on. They told the Dem's they would not vote for MORE BORROWED MONEY to pay for the extension. Then the Dem's made it look like what you see. So their tactic worked, on YOU.

Do you know that O and the Dem majority have Borrowed 1 TRILLION $'S already this year? Under Bush it went up to about 400 billion per year. Hyper-inflation is going to kill us

Barack didn't tell you that bacause it would waste a good crisis. Are you enlightened? Apparently not! The solution for the problem was there but borrowing more is what the Democrats want to do. Make sure you read that Huffington Post it makes you so much smarter. Left out facts are as good as a lie.

He doesn't want to add it to the National Debt.. my Question to Mike pence is HOW ARE THEY PAYING FOR THE WAR IN IRAQ AND AFGANISTAN...??? Congress is looking to introduce S3520 Unemployment Insurance extension act of 201. This bill only covers up to Tier 4. If you are in the EB (extended Benefits) phase you are out of luck. Call/email/fax your congressman to include the EB in this bill.

Since unemployment and welfare are liabilities to the taxpayer why not make them assets. Some would say that hurts the private sector, but if the private sector can't hire them then they have nothing to complain about. If benefit recipients were sent to disasters like the oil spill the Govt. would save $ and the liabilities would become assets. TY again

Hmmm, what about the 300 billion of unspent TARP money?  The recession could quickly turn into a depression by cutting unemployment benefits. A good solution would be to use the unemployed for government and public services. This would help preserve and justify the benefits for those who can't find work.

I am sick of people saying unemployed workers are lazy bums who isn't trying to find a job. Being unemployed means you had a job but lost it and are unable to find one. I live in Michigan and I belive this is one of the hardest hit states out there to cut our unemployment would be a bad idea. You would just see the house market and the economy go down...
