@Illyriametal I know Manowar. I know their theme has always been "true" metal, which I find childish in and of itself. But in whole, the character of the music was more mature then. There's no comparing I Die for Metal to Kingdom Come, or Return of the Warlord to Blood of the Kings. The latter songs were more eventful, more epic. You could apply them to any struggle and triumph, not just the cause of a group of musical misfits.

I know you still had some songs in this fashion back then, such as Kings of Metal, Fighting the World and All Men Play on Ten, all of which sounded like the stuff of kids throwing tantrums, but the focus on that style of songs was less decades ago. But this is somehow prevalent now. Manowar just seems more like senseless noise on this day and ege. I hope I made myself clear now..

Why is this gay exactly? It is what it is. It's overdone, it's theatrical, it's epic, and it is pretty far from the "real" that Manowar claim they are. BUT, before you hate, it's fucking great!
