dude mine does the same thing now!! started after 1 week of playing.. such bullshit!! i had it working for a bit, but i think its the sensor, cause everytime i make fast movements it goes off and on.
ive got the 940bw so our monitors should be quite similar. The faulty cable is probably to blame. It takes a while to get a replacement so good luck with that man.
I sent an email to vdigi about it and didnt get a response for 3 weeks, so I sent it back since it said you could on their website. A week after that they sent an email that it was OK to send back for a replacement. It's been about a month since they sent that email and I still don't have another cable. :(
It looks like it may be an issue with Samsungs in general though, everyone that seems to have this issue has a Samsung monitor.
I sent it back and got a reply back a few weeks later saying they would send a new one. It's been about 3 months now and nothing ... just kinda chalked it up to a loss and forgot about it :\
I ended up getting the cable anyway, and it's worked great for me (knock on wood). Shame that communicating with Hong Kong is not the easiest of things.

only way ive found to work was switching the DIP 3 to ON and everything else to off, but it is wayyy to bright.. anyone have a solution?

Nope, seems they took the money and ran, or atleast I haven't got a replacement and they haven't sent another email since then.
