  • EL PUEBLO JUDIO, AUN EN EPOCAS DIFICIL, SABE DISFRUTAS Y ALEGRARSE; POR ESO VIVIRA POR SIEMPRE, LEJAIM LUIS ELBAUM

  • We Jews make this brocha when seeing this sort of thing:

ברוך אתה ה' אלוהינו מלך העולם שלא עשני באבוב

    amen

  • GREAT MARCH!

  • was ist der Sinn von Walzer oder Polka ???

  • The first song resembles Avanti Popolo...

  • These Jews are really having clean fun. Its nice to see this. Its a side that us Goy's don't get to see generally!

  • yeah - very "shine" celebrating the people who murdered us- the only uniforms these kids need to wear are the ones of the IDF

  • I love the costumes, I wonder where they get them!

  • looks turkish, perhaps

  • the custom goes back to imperial russia - the tsar's armies had two common uniform colors: red shirts for peasant conscripts, white for officers having finished a military academy and kossacks. these boys are mock-kossacking for the bride's entertainment.

the idea is that, typically, kossacks have a very negative role in Jewish life (i.e., instigating pogroms, blood libel, ) ... However!, on a day such as this wedding, they too must rejoice and dance for bridal queen.

  • wow. that's pretty interesting. thanks for explaining.

  • @arielba lol, that sounds kinda weird. I have no idea about this stuff but... you'd never have people in Third Reich uniform rejoicing at a wedding for the amusement of the bride... would you? XD

  • Hello! Can anybody explain this dance of the children? Somebody here called it cosack dance - I think jews don't have reason to clebrate the cosacks. So what is the meaning?

  • maybe for this reason that chasidic movemrnt was born in the Ukraine?

  • the little Rebbe's soldiers ahah

  • The "Let's hear it for the cooks" dance?

  • zeyer shine!

  • Am Israel chai!

  • WHAT IS THAT?

  • no! you guys have it all wrong! they subject their waiters to perform complicated choreograph dance moves before they serve them kosher. ITS TRADITION! OIH! clap clap clap clap

  • yeah walking in a circle....reeaal complicated.

oh, and you mean the HIRE employees for both a performance and meal- I've never heard of any establishment that offers that before....

  • You can't argue, the Hassidim really have it. Strong Kehillas, and some real hein and eidelkeit. Sometimes I get a yetser for the velt.

  • zeyer shine

  • wow. did they pick this up in turkey, or what?

  • it was only 13 floors and they were very empty

they made 17 ploors but they asked people not to go to the top 4 since it was very enpty

  • HAPPY PURIM !!!!!!!

  • What are the little boys dressed up as? Pretty bizarre!

  • and this is the benzion corwd the 2th bigest crowd in bobov
