I live in Laredo, TX right on the border and the violence has mostly moved on to Juarez. A few yrs ago, it was really bad in our sister city, Nuevo Laredo; in fact, many Laredoans have gone missing in Nuevo Laredo, but our mayors are not interested in forcing the Mexican govt. to catch those responsible. One mayor went on CNN's Lou Dobbs and said on national TV that anyway those cases of missing Laredoans are "drug-related." Many were appalled.
