Therefore a proper runningman ALWAYS catches the bassline, without the shuffler having count out the steps. Because of this, you are allowed to focus on overall rocking and movement (instead of counting out your steps in order to keep on beat). After you have mastered that, slides, glides, kicks, spins, super spins, and inverted steps come 2nd nature.
