The layout is well done, but there's some minor things I would tweak.

1. Lower the windows 1 tile and add another set above it. The buildings look too large for one floor, and windows are too high above the player.

2. Narrow the streets. It's too empty with not enough going on, but narrowing it 1-2 tiles would give it the busy town atmosphere.

3. Don't use the cloud fog. They don't make dark shadows in real life, so they shouldn't make them here.

Overall, better than most. 7.5/10

1. I made the buildings large to compensate for the bigger sizes of characters.

2. You're right about narrowing the streets a bit, though since this is part of my game I wanted enough room for certain events that will take place that will need the bigger spaces.

3. Again, you're right about the clouds, but since it's been used many times in towns and city maps, I thought it would look nice on mine. I tried others, but this one just looked nicer overall. Might not use fogs overall though.

The style reminds me of the XP Maker, but there's something about it that let's you know that it's VX.

Well I'd love to improve my English skills and a review would be the perfect opportunity! Can't wait for that. 

Just beware in advance two things to expect though. First my reviews may be a little harsher then commenting since I try to focus on how to improve it. Of course I'll point out all the good stuff too, but I like pointing out ALL the bad as well to make the scoring fair. So please dont take any negative points the wrong way if there are any.

Second my current English skills lack a little so it's not quite at that well-written review standard. Because of that some of my points may seem a little strange but my scoring should be roughly accurate and any advice should still help you out. So is that okay?

You can go all out, I don't mind. I can take criticism very well and learn from them. One of a few things I have learned from studying to become a writer. No way to improve otherwise.

Wow. Everything fits perfect where you placed it. I really like the XP feel you had going. Everything matches really well and it looks amazing. I know how hard it is to map something like this. I like how the lillypads move and use of animals. xD

I would rate it a 9 overall and 10 for effort.
