  • Same here in the uk - there is just solution - be careful!

You remind me of Lindsay Wagner!

  • Thank you for sharing, the companies are sure getting slick in how they are scamming us.

  • this lady is so beautiful

  • If you are holding a monthly balance on your card how do you miss two monthly payments and not know it? Your friend is full of shit. Should she be charged 30% intrest? NO. Nobody should be charged 30% for any reason.

  • Changing the due date on you? You said it best, steveh777ify...thieves.

Just started watching an eye-opening documentary, "Maxed Out".

  • It is crucial to appreciate that we are dealing with Crooks here, not decent human beings. They may have a facade of respectability, and an infrastructure that suggests credibility, but they are f*****g THIEVES. We have the MBNA infection here in the UK. Their entire system of systemic robbery relies on basis human decency, acknowledgment of due debt, and honesty. Don't pay them ANYTHING and see how liberating it is. They can ONLY send you pieces of paper. They make good barbecue lighting-fuel!

  • The best thing to do with Credit Cards is not get one, ever. Just live within your means. And if' you do have one? Me, I would probably not pay them a dime and move on- and if they sue, they sue. To me- let them have the car or whatever I put on the credit. Their whole deal is to bluff people into the illusion of what could happen without credit in your life. In reality C C companies my friends have dealt with, one friend owed a ton- but never paid. CC sued and still don't get a dime.

  • The next trickery is the new law is they only have to give you 14 days to pay your bill from notification!

Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

  • Thank you.....Kill the credit card business by killing your cards. They are winning now but we can beat them in the long haul. Then eventually those crimnals may leave the country to go somewhere else to steal. Your grandparents had no cards and yet they built America up to be the greatest Nation of All Time.

  • Part of this video was played on National TV, the Daily Show with John Stewart.

  • this may seem unrelated... but i think you're beautiful. i'd like very much to spend the rest of my life with you

  • Greed, corruption, evil - plain and simple. The money lenders. What i do is use the CCs only for short term (less than 15 days) then pay them off, keeping the balances at or near zero.

  • SUE THE BASTARDS!!!

  • It's all going to backfire on 'em when more and more people decide to just not pay. They had a good thing going but then they had to go and get greedy.

  • use cash only. PEACE.

  • please, everyone, just don't use credit cards! Seriously, pay off and get out. I have been credit card free for years and it is possible. They (The Man; whoever...) will try to screw you everychace they get.

  • Here's the deal folks: the banks are squeezing everybody and when their squeeze pushes some over the edge they have to squeeze those who remain all the harder. Look into Advanta Bank and what's happened to it, because that's the template for what's happening to the other major banks.

morningmayan is fighting back, and so should you ... but if the banks have already pushed you under then you need to know how to fight against what comes next--and that's where my book comes in. Check my channel.

  • Yes, I've had a couple of ZERO percent purchases for a year, and what the credit card company did was TO NOT send me the first billing and hitting me with a $59 later charge. This happened TWICE with the same finance company, Home Fininancial. It's a little dirty trick they do under the table of regualtors, who are asleep anyway. DEBTORS MUST GO ON STRIKE!!! New bankruptcy laws were passed a couple of years ago to protect the banks and SCREW the consumer/debtor!!

  • so lemme see if i understand you correctly....you have a credit card acct w/ a late fee of $59? if i received an offer for a card w/ a fee that high, i'd head right to the shredder and put that offer where it belongs! the moment you use a new credit card, you need to know when the first payment is due. not receiving a first statement is bad but you're saying it happened again? that's entirely your fault! building one's credit is nothing to play with. take some accountability please

  • You don't understand but you think you do---that's your problem, you think too much! I was slammed with the late charge twice with two separate purchases with I not knowing at the time that the second time it was the same finace comany who bought the paper from BOSE. The second time I noticed It was the same finance company that slammed me the first time. That's when I figured it was a 'way of doing business for this finance company'....CROOKS!!!

Stop thinking and go get a real job!

  • i'm going by what you said. you said you were charged a late fee of $59 dollars. perhaps if you'd be a bit more specific, people would understand what the hell you're saying. now if you had said you were charged $29 on two separate occassions, there would've been a bit more clarity. i talk to people like you on a daily basis and this is what i tell them....pay more attention to your statements. late fees just don't sneak up on you. if you have a balance on your account. you'll have a due date

  • to pay your bill. it's consumers like you that remain ignorant to simple shit like looking at the monthly statement and when a late fee is assessed, you act surprised. the bank isn't at fault because you gave your acct information to a merchant and they billed your acct. the bank can't tell a merchant not to charge your acct. why don't you get some common sense and do what's right as a consumer. stop being ignorant!

  • OK Buttman, I'm gonna try one more time (you are still thinking). The problem occurred on two separate occassions with the 1st billing which was interest fee but required a minimum monthly payment of $31.00..that part is easy. BUT I WAS NEVER SENT THE 1ST BILLING NO THE TWO SEPARATE PURCHASES FROM BOSE. I wasn't aware that the same finance company that did the financing for BOSE also did the financing for the second purchase. I was cheated fair and square!

  • you're proving just how big of an ignorant asshole you really are! the same finance company that did the financing for bose also didn the financing for the second purchase....how the fuck is this the credit card companies problem? somewhere along the way you weren't paying attention when you made your purchase from bose. did you proactively make an effort to inquire about when you bill was going to be received. obviously when you make a charge on a credit card your stupid ass needs to

  • consider that a payment needs to be made. there's no trickery there. you're just a fuckin idiot! "oh, i'll just charge on my card and not worry about a bill..." you have no point to make so stop posting because you're showing the world just how fuckin dumb you are.

  • Buttman: Your mother should wash your mouth out with soap. When ignorance is cornered it lashes out with verbal abuses! Shame of you. I don't think your mother raised you that way, and you preacher at your mother's church would be embarrassed to see the way you deal with people who disagree with you. SHAME ON YOU. YOU EMBARRASS YOUR FAMILY!

  • Buttman: You said your an "grown ass man". You can't even talk about yourself without using derrogatory comments. You are a very immature person. You shouldn't open your mouth. What you say labels you.

Be a good boy and go away, "Children should be seen and not heard" is an adage that applies doubly with you. Make like a tree and 'leave'!

  • Comment removed

  • BUTTMAN: I laid the spelling trap for you. Since you work at MickeyDee's every day you are the expert. I bow to your Big Mac expertise...LOL!!!! Flip those burgers...you should of listened to your mom to stay in High School and do your homework; but noooooooo, you wanted to play midnight basketball.

  • BUTTMAN: Buy lottery tickets; ther is always something to be said for 'dumb luck' for guys in you predicument. Too much month, not enought salary, HEY?

  • BUTTMAN!! Get a job, for God's sake; you've made a profession of harrassing me on this blog. Volunteer at you local school to clean toilets or something! Just get out of my life. YOU ARE LIKE A BAD DREAM WITH HAIRY MOLES ON IT!!!!!

  • BUTTMAN, get a life!!! They're always hiring at the Salvation Army, dude. You can start out 'part-time'. Sort of ease into going to work.

  • It's all a story, full of sound and fury signifying NOTHING! Words, concepts, emotions, objects arise and are all temporary. The presence awareness, the knowing-ness...this doesn't change and this is what you are. See below the BS and you will see that which doesn't change: YOU/ONENESS! Constant and eternal.

  • oh, so now you're trying to get all philosophical on me but you only succeeded in sounding like a bigger idiot! just listen to your self and there will be only confusion on your behalf. you went from trying to make a point to what morningmayan said in her video to just being utterly ridiculous. the one thing that's eternal is your ignorance. i'm gonna delete my previous comments because we're making a mess of mayan's video.

  • Buttman: You insulting yourself as you show off your ignorance. "Unclubable" is a word is an english usage (Great Britain) and is a take off on the English Clubs men at a certain high level of society were invited to join by unanimous vote of all current voters. If one was not voted to join the club, he was said to be: UNCLUBABLE. LIve and learn Buttman. You see my man, you must choose your friends discriminately.

  • BUTTMAN: You ignorance is harder than a stone wall. I give up trying to get thru your thick skull! They're is a reason why you think the thouights you do so I won't hold it against you. You are what you are because of the environment you were raised in. You'll never get out; you sunk in the mire of labels. I won't wish you good luck because it won't help you.

There's a hole in the sand with your name on it. GO!

  • LOL..."because of the environment i was raised in..." gee..thanks for the psycho analysis. based on the ass whooping you've been receiving since this whole exchange started, i would guess the "environment" i was raised in consists of education and common sense. i can't say the same for you because where you come from, it's thought to be legal for brothers and sisters to start a happy little family. i'll always be above you. there's a sheep with you name on it. go fuck it!

  • your friend has been w/ discover for quite some time i presume and suddenly they don't send the bill? how about your friend just paid late. think about it...2 consecutive months w/o a bill and your friend doesn't notice. how did the first bill get paid? normally collectors start calling after 5 days past due. your friend knew she was late but she's blaming the bank for her ineptitude. how assuming responsibility and start paying on time. tell your friend as well.

  • morningmayan, let' me ask you something? you said your friend had 2 defaults right? how long has your friend had her credit card? if you're telling me that your friend is upset because she knew she had a balance on her credit card and she forgot that she had to make a payment, it's that kind of lack of accountability that puts people in this position. you know you have a credit card yet you don't look at the bill because "your busy?" i don't buy that at all and neither should you.

  • HOW MUCH DO YOU MAKE SORRO?

  • avoid debt at ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!......

  • BUTTMAN: Your use of the language and your humor speaks volumes of who you are and what part of town you come from and level of society. You sir are unclubable.

  • wtf?...all i said was avoid debt?

  • jesus, xmenrus. your use of the english language or inability to use is befuddles me. what the hell is "unclubable"? you're too busy trying to insult me but you're only insulting yourself w/ your unintelligible vocabulary. dammit man.....when it comes to a battle of wits, you're shooting blanks. what's your address? i'm gonna mail you a dictionary AND a thesaurus, you illiterate bastard!

  • I have a discover card and they did the same thing to me. I noticed that they raised my rate and called them. They changed it back to my original rate. I have also made payments when the CC says I don't have to (because of some kind of payment break) and some how the payment always gets "lost" in the mail. I can't wait to have all my debt paid off and will NEVER use a CC again. Thanks for your post!

  • Great Message! Have you considered a balance transfer to lower rate? Thanks for warning American Consumers.

  • I noticed that not only your interest rate has increased, but the lower the billing cycle which in fact it increases your interest even more. I notice this in a couple of my CC. Before one of my CC has a billing cicle of 33 days and now it is about 29 days, this is one way where you can easily miss a payment or be late on your payments. This will cause to punish you with late fees and whatnots.

  • you're very misinformed. the more days in the billing cycle will result in more interest possibly. it all depends on the debits and credits that post to your account. generally, if you're not using your card, and you always pay on the due date, billing cycles w/ more days will result in more finance charges. the avg billing cycle is 30-31 days. also, it's federal law (reg aa/udap ) for banks give consumers 27 days to make their payment. all you need to do is pay attn to your statements

  • since you have access to the internet, why not just set an online reminder for when your statements are issued and when your payments are due? if you've had a credit card for quite some time and you're just now noticing things like the number of days in a cycle, maybe you shouldn't have a card.

  • Awakened you did!

  • Great video. Credit card companies are totally corrupt. Yes, credit cards are handy - but they are also dangerous and you have to watch them like a hawk. They are very SLIPPERY! Debt makes one a slave to the lender. Everyone, as soon as possible, get out and stay out of debt - you will sleep better.

    PATRIOTS UNITE.

  • PAY THEM ALL OFF OR DECLARE BANKTRUPTCY!! If you've lost your job, you are in a much lower income bracket and can file a full bankruptcy, if not go to your bank and borrow the money to pay them all off. Cut them up, NEVER use them again. I have lived on cash for 8 years, recently having saved so much in rip off interest rates I paid cash for my last car. Read a book called "Pay Yourself First" its life changing. These criminals can only get in your pocket if you continue to allow them to do so!

  • interesting.... i never received my mortgage statement this month... hmmmmmmmm

  • Everyone READ Public Law 95-109 ! The Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. Signed in Congress. Google it! This little law that your creditors (Slave Masters) don't want you to know about has served me well many times in the past.

  • I called my credit card company they said Im at 15% anually 21% and I have excellent credit. Thank God I have a zero balance.. What a rip off US Bank is gonna get rich off people at 21% and with default heavens knows what they will charge then.

  • that is straight bullshit! people dont realize you choose to help people or not its based upon choice. Shit i lower my tenants rents all time without approval from my owners and get in trouble but i am not about to make someones life disgruntled

    bullshit

  • Welcome to predatory lending practices, the favorite tactic of credit card companies. Pay it off and don't use it anymore, just keep any fees paid to keep your credit good, but watch out for more unannounced changes which would catch you unawares again. If your account is with one of the big bloodsuckers, check around to see if you can switch your account to a smaller bank. Better yet, a credit union, as smaller banks are being bought out now that biggies have use of unregulated bailout money.

  • the gravy train has lost its biscuit wheels

  • ~I got the best idea ever, CUT THE FOOKERS =p

Thanks for the post MM, these monsters will do anything to shake the last few cents out of us all.

  • Yeah Linda, almost a full year ago, Target and my Visa came 5 days earlier. I don't use my Target anymore, and watch my Visa really close. They are doing it on purpose. Oh, and I have Sam's card but don't shop there much, but get charged my membership fee billed to me. Well, the bill was mailed to me so I got it two days before it was due. Not enough time to remail. I wrote on the statement, if they charge me late fee, I will cancel my account. No late fee. :)

  • That's seriously wrong... not suprising though. These moran's will do anything to take our hard earned money. Thanks Linda for the heads up!

    Peace

  • Have a suspect that they do a balance fraut in my account.

They cant change the movements in the account, but they can change the balance. If you dont keep the list of movement with balance.

  • Have you thought of asking the banks to pay back the debt they owe people by using fractional reserve banking? monetarising debt? Asking them to prove where the gold is that backs up their money? I've tried doing this but they always throw me out of the bank and send me to Guantanamo bay

  • Get rid of the cards pay cash, they use the credit score to keep you in the system,

ever time you use a credit card you support the enemy

  • @freepress666 TRUE and it is precisely what I have done... no more credit cards

  • Thanks for the love

  • How much bail out money did they get?? They raised my apr to 14.99% I call them they said it was mantaince on the account. They want all of the money that we don't have.. WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO PUT OUR HOUSE BACK IN ORDER!

  • Credit is created out of thin air, do you really think the banks actually have money on hand for all your credit card purchases.

Same with home loans, a few key strokes on a magic computer, and bam, now you work for the next thirty years to pay back something the banks never had to begin with.

Sure wish I had one of those magic computers!

  • If you create your own money you're called a criminal and a counterfeiter. If a bank creates money out of nothing and charges you for something that doesn't exist you're called a criminal if you don't pay. Makes sense doesn't it?

  • As far as the changing your due date...the credit card companies cannot do that! It is illegel for thm to cange your due date. You are the only person that can change that. You need to look into your credit cards. It is for this reason that I DO NOT have credit. I make great money, and pay all my bills on time, but I do not see the reason to OWE someone money andhave to pay exhorbant fees.

  • thank you! its the bank accounts too, they have been doing it for years in uk, constantly adjusting bill clearing to generate the most fees, its sick.

  • i havent seen the revolt vid, link isnt working but will try to find it.

great advice MM! with all the sneaky tactics they're using, raising rates, etc, it would be wise to cut those babies up! I also wonder if the recent rate hikes to the default/cash rate has anything to do w/the rush for people to tap into their avail credit about 6 mos ago - posting vid response of an old vid about this subject

  • there's a space too much in the link description

i guess MM means this here :

    watch?v=jGC1mCS4OVo

funny thing happening in germany, EVERY SINGLE BANK CHANGES RULES OF MAKEING DEALS !

every property, whether life insurance, money, treasury will go to the bank in case the bank goes bankrupt !

  • Some of those paycheck into cash places charge up to 800% intrest from what i read.

  • glad I got rid of CC's at same time as first EX the one that ran them to limit..... been 30 years now and don't miss either one

  • Only buy what you NEED, never buy what you WANT.

That simple action alone will soon get you out of DEBT.

Of course the hard part of this, IS THAT IT REQUIRES YOU TO BE 'HONEST WITH YOUR-SELF'.

Don't buy into all that CRAP any longer.

    Cheer's, here's to a DEBT FREE life.

  • Only have 1 credit card & only use it for on-line purchases & travel (if you get insurance with it). Only use it if you really have to & always clear the balance on time. Otherwise stick to cash for most transactions and use other methods e.g. debit cards, cheques/checks etc. for larger purchases.

  • Using credit cards enslaves you. My freedom is not for sale.stop helping the enemy.

  • i hate my credit card :( i wish i wasnt in so much debt.. but its all love still...

  • I clicked on the link you provided on the creditcard revolt vid, and it said

"The URL contained a malformed video ID. "

    Youtube censor-shipping again

  • can anyone say "Class action lawsuit"?

  • me too! and their web site defaults to the day of payment so if you pay early ...which I often due..like weeks early....even though I pay two weeks early the web site will default the payment to the day of payment ...and if they change the due date that month...well...even if you paid early it will default to the old day of payment. Lol...i hope that wasn't too confusing..just watch everything you do when it come to money now...hell the rip off artists is the new black. Watch your asses

  • Credit card companies make most of their profits (70%) from the sub prime customers.

  • Hello.... My name is Nibiru and I have been card free for fifteen years.

P.S. ALWAYS pay your bills early.

  • when i was in UK i forgot to pay 12 pounds for my mastercard. then came back to join the army and they called me home 3 years later telling me i owed them 360pounds. i asked them why didnt they call me before. they said they couldnt find my number. i never believed them. i paid the bill.

  • pay_off_of_your_debt_and_cut_up_those_devil_cards!

  • Come on... Fan is spinning faster and you still rely on credit cards? Get out of plastic!

  • "oh give me a big silver dollar to slap on the bar with a bang, a bill that will crease may do in the east, but we want our money to clang"..... 1900's

  • Yep, they have ticked me off lately in a HUGE way. They are not just raising the interest rate, if you have taken advantage of the low % rate until the balence is paid off they are rasing the percent of payment on the principal, which doubles the payments, and is a loophole way of getting more money while not changing the interest. Sucks when your on a fixed income.

  • The utility companies are doing the same thing, I pay my electric bill online, they send email bills to me, we long story short, I overlooked a bill, too much spam & clutter in email box. One day they shut off the power with no notice whatsoever, for being $146 late. They wanted $100 if I wanted to be reconnected that day. I told em forget about it and cranked up my generator. I'm working on gettins solar on my house, all these corporations are sleezeball bloodsuckers getting paid with loopholes

  • That a local American issue. I went through my contract and here in Europe (not sure if it's in all countries), they cannot change it, since on the contract is states the day that the money is due and that day is chosen when you sign it. Another issue is that on that day the money is directly taken from the your bank account so we only need to have cash there.

Anyway, if that is happening in the US, people do need to open their eyes since they are obviously tried to make people go broke.

  • great video!

  • Get all the credit cards you can, then max them out on silver bullion. When the credit card companies call and ask for payments, tell them to go fuck themselves.

  • hehehehe

  • I agree, there is no honor amoung thieves and the credit card companies/banks are thieves.

  • pay them off and cut them up. mine are cut up.

  • Yeah, they are doing trickery lately. They offered me a platinum card, and told me there was no difference. I found out there was; I now have to wait six months instead of three to apply for a larger credit limit. They also pulled the due date trick of me, sigh. Bastards.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, this is some scary shit. Are they messing with debit cards too?

  • Yeah see how the banks do ya? Gov bails them out and they turn around and screw everyone over more. FUBAR! Great video! 5***

  • The best thing to do if it's possible is to not have credit cards. They raised my interest rate to 31% because even though I never missed a payment, I always paid the minimum payment they asked me to pay, so according to them I was a higher risk to them. Heck with that.

  • aah thats bullshit. f'in credit card scum backdooring the american people.

  • I have called to see whats up with a card I have no balance on and they did the same thing. I said look I do not use this credit card it in case of Emergency only why is my rate increased form 9.9 to 28.9 they hung up on me,

  • lol! I just had a vision of a Public Notice in the paper warning your neighbors! 2 or 3 more people come up with the same story and there's trouble!

  • Great information, banks are slimeballs, Im credit card free if I dont have the money I dont buy it and paying off my last credit card was the experience that set me off, they pulled the same bs and I'd rather live without them altogether, screw em'!

Who are they to change your due date only to charge you more for taking the initiative to do that?

The whole system is so darn corrupt

  • They are creating a worse depression...

I heard this might happen over a month ago.

    BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!

  • I don't use credit, if I can't pay cash I can't have it.

  • StylidiumLane:

I don't have any credit cards either. I refuse to play their game. I use cash for things I need, not things I want.

  • great information

  • Peace!

  • If people have not learned now, they should learn to save first, live WELL within your means b/c Americans have been trained to be gluttonous consumers of crap they don't need at all, saving money by buying -ouch, the irony. "You'll save big, if you buy this." Wouldn't it be funny if every American saved 70% over what they had, after paying bills, groceries? Buying only necessities, not using credit cards at all.

    Banks would be pissed.

  • Yeah but did you see the television piece on nailing folks for being practical for shopping a wallmart verses expensive department stores awhile back? Their credit score being lower because they were being practical verses obnoxious in their spending? Its nuts

  • @KARStarla - you are kidding me! That is so, so unfair, but not surprising though. I remember a news report stating some c. card companies penalize you for looking at your credit score for some reason. I say just get rid of those DEBT SHACKLES. Have Tyler Durden complete his plans and bomb all the credit companies, thus erasing those shackles and the power credit companies have over people.

  • This is why I don't have credit cards and all that garbage (although I have a debit card). Dumb shit like this is inevitable with the corporate pigs who rip you off every chance they get.

  • I have 900 left in cc debit and after that I'm done buying on credit. I have never had that much cc debit but I hate worrying about that kind of stuff.

  • what happened to your friend happened to me; it is a Left Brain Dominant Issue; The Super Left Brain Dominant People are in charge of everything; All The Symbols of Scociety is their left Brain Proffesional World, that Says Nice Things then tries to trick you to increase teir power

  • Just closed our Discover Account ***** thanks-don't need these creeps. It would be a good idea for everyone to consider doing the same.

  • soon as mine are paid off that's it no more credit for me thanks.

  • Thanks, MM! That's really good to know.

  • Cut up your credit cards! Only spend what you have on hand. Best advise I can give to someone.

Cash is the best way to pay but we have this fiat currency to deal with at the moment.

  • i can,t wait to pay carbon tax,s.....we now get taxed for breathing!

  • Oh yea you got the same discovercard issue that I had- I got pissed about that due date thing because that set my cashback bonus back 3 months! Their system got all screwed up I think. I always pay it back every month and take the cashback bonus and give it to my wife as giftcards... luckily I caught it, but yea I could see where they "got ya". Thanks MM!

  • This is the prelude to the bankruptcy of the credit card companies followed by bailouts, bubble scums, creating credits out of thin air, you name it ..

and just in the time the whole banking system collapses.

  • right! I think we should stop paying all our bank notes, car notes, house notes, credit cards all - let the bankers go broke and we the people can rebuild again....

  • Problem is they back up everything ten times over and are owned by the luciferian elite bankers. When the system collapses they will want their money. So- I believe they will enslave us until we "pay off" our debt we defaulted on...

  • more of us than there are of them...its a numbers game lol

  • not a bad idea!!!

  • That is so dirty and evil.

  • Thanks for the heads up

  • thanks for the info and looking out,,

  • robbery
