  • I have a question. Before the Mapes Imploded, what was the building's history and what was it used as

  • Over 11 years and there is still nothing on the site.

  • I was one of those that was hoping for Reno City Council to help save the Mapes, as I thought it was a beautiful building. As a Reno native of 32 years, I was there that morning at Wingfield Park to watch it happen. I was saddened, especially since everybody around me was cheering. Maybe they were happy for the fighting to be over, between the City and the Save the Mapes group?
