  • Around 2:30 Barney starts to channel the spirit of Elmer Fudd (R.I.P.) and by 3:11 you can tell that it is completely Elmer Fudd talking... Wascally Wabbits.

  • barney frank the fag lol

  • This video is BS because the regulations were good (with the exception of Glass Seagal being Obolished, but if business is honest there is no problem ) until the republicans worked tirelessly to weaken the regulators and then defunded and fired the good regulators and then fought to bail out the banks. I point out that no bill was passed under Bush unless he signed the bill. END OF STORY.

  • @daveusaz1218

You're butt in no place for your head dave. You are MAKING THINGS UP to support your prejudice.

    The proof?

You can't back up - with SPECIFIC FACTS - anything you just posted. END OF STORY.

  • @mredstriumph Republicans just can't stand to see the truth and teabaggers like it even less. The fact that you don't know, what I said is true, is proof you know nothing or your just another schill spreading propaganda dictated by the corporate puppet masters of the republican party. And, it's an insult to Benjamin Franklin to use his photo to spread your anti American triflings.

  • @daveusaz1218

Dave, there is only one TRUTH.

There is no 'your' truth, or 'my' truth, or 'their' truth.. only ** THE ** TRUTH - meaning objective Truth, something that can ONLY be verified by specific & indisputable facts. This is why I am about to do something that YOU absolutely cannot do.. in great specificity & complete exactness, I can tell you:

    WHO

    WHAT

    WHEN

    WHERE

    WHY

There is no need to ask why you cannot do the same.

  • @daveusaz1218

    4) Who DE-regulated the mortgage industry: Democrats

    Specific Acts?

Federal Housing Enterprises Financial Safety & Soundness Act 1992

Riegle-Neal Interstate Banking & Branching Efficiency Act 1994

    Community Reinvestment Act 1995

    Taxpayer Relief Act 1997

Gramm Leach Bliley Act 1999 - [77.3% Democrat support (198 out of 256 Democrats)]

    Commodity Futures Modernization Act 2000

Each passed by Bill Clinton, ALL with majority Democrat support

  • @daveusaz1218

5 - Who SUED mortgage lenders to FORCE them to make bad loans?

    Barrack Obama

    Case Name

Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank Fed. Sav. Bank Fair Housing/Lending/Insurance

    Docket / Court 94 C 4094 ( N.D. Ill. ) FH-IL-0011

    State/Territory Illinois

Bill Clinton / Andrew Cuomo 4/6/1998

    /watch?v=Lr1M1T2Y314

  • @mredstriumph So the case name was not called: Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank Fed. Sav. Bank, to force bad loans. When Glass Seagal was abolished the Banks switched from being lenders to lender/ investment holdings brokers and that is when everything was packaged up, fraudulently rated and sold as AAA investments to the unsuspecting clients and then insured by the banks because they knew they would lose money. Banker greed kills economies. Nobody forced them to aggressively seek customers.

  • @daveusaz1218

Dave, make sure your answers directed towards me are made as direct replies, or it's hard for me to find them.

    A) - Glass-Steagle Act of 1933 was a legislative response to the bank runs of the 1920's Great depression, NOT a forward thinking bill designed to address securitization and credit default swaps which would be invented BY DEMOCRATS (HUD) in Feb 1970.

    B) - Glass-Steagle was repealed by Gramm Leach Bliley Act in 1999 and signed by BILL CLINTON w 77.3% Democrat Support

  • @mredstriumph That doesn't explain why the banks did not practice preditory lending tactics and fraudulently rated derivative packages until the republican majority under Bush, hog tied and defunded and fired wistle blowing regulators. If banks had stayed honest and regulators were allowed to do their jobs, we would not be having this conversation right now. R. Paul is the only republican I see, wanting to reverse the FSM, Act of 1999 created by republicans.

  • @daveusaz1218

And the very premise of your propaganda-NOT-FACT-argument is silly anyways..

Show me how clever you are & answer this..

Q1 - When have we EVER needed laws to keep banks from giving their money away (bad loans)?

Q2 - If "DE-regulation" (which I've already PROVEN was & ** IS NOW ** the Democrat position) was the cause of the crisis.. how is it that Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac - which are run by Congress! - went broke?

  • @daveusaz1218

TRUTH - A "predatory loan" is 33% interest compounded weekly and Tony Soprano.

It is NOT a zero-down, Interest-only, no-appraisal, no-income-verification, "loan" which you never repay; living in a house you can't afford & never pay for; taking home equity loans against equity you never built, & walking away when you're done.

Your entire premise is a LIE

  • @mredstriumph There you go again using a founding fathers display pic to spread your right wingnut propaganda of war is peace and freedom is slavery. You are simply wrong and need to get a new job because this schill puppet thing isn't working for you.

  • @daveusaz1218

I think u r wrong about me Dave. I'm a true believer. If I'm wrong, HELP ME. Point out where.

U see.. I see these videos, & see Democrats telling what they KNEW AT THE TIME was a lie. Then I go and check the bills. I check voting records. I see if what they say matches up with their votes. It doesn't.

I'll be completely honest with u Dave. I WANT to learn from u. I do have my opinions, BUT.. I dont want to be wrong. I've shown u WHY I believe what I do.. but u dont do the same

  • @daveusaz1218

    IF I didn't want 2know or discover TRUTH, I wouldn't check everything.

I promise I'll support the TRUTH wherever it leads. As much as u don't understand, I'm NOT an enemy. I want the very same things 4myself, my family, my community u do. I don't hate ppl, clean water, sunshine. I don't make a lot of $. I dont love the tea party or any politician. I just don't like monopoly & most especially FORCE, & biggest monopoly I see today is the govt. I also see the destruction our savings

  • @daveusaz1218

I see the rising prices of food

I listen to Obama tell us risky loans caused the crisis, then watch him scream at the banks "Make more loans!" I hear Dems say banks were "too big to fail", & watch them consolodate the entire financial system into LARGER & LARGER entities. I hear them blame 'the rich', 'derivs' & 'speculatrs' then see them w George Soros (google: man who broke the bank of England; Russiagate; Asian financial crisis); Say tax cuts caused t crisis, YET extend them.

  • @mredstriumph Well, your starting to make good sense, I think the banks after recieving bail out money should be lending especially to small businesses to get people working and revenues flowing. The rest of what you said, I can not argue with. I think the problem is corporate political funding, I say this because when something like bailout money is given, controls are negotiated away and now that money sits in the FED RES collecting interest and not helping American business, it's a sham.

  • @daveusaz1218

Dave, the reason ppl aren't working is the collapse of HOUSING. Ppl in construction, mortgage industry, manufacturing (does USA still manufacture domestically? Yes! - lumber, drywall, paint, pavement, & most other construction materials), ppl who make 'durable good' - washing machines, dish washers, furniture, ppl who do landscaping, clean pools, & everyone in all the related industries is who lost their jobs.

The REASON they lost their jobs is the Housing Crisis. That's Y I care

  • @daveusaz1218

What happned to our economy, & why it almost collapsed, was the DESTRUCTION of COLLATERAL.

In USA 'Collateral" means housing - or the proposition that the houses necessary for ppl to live in - in the strongest & largest economy in the world - would continue to have value. That's the 'risky gamble' the banks made. How crazy to think that, right? Particularly w the backing of housing through the Federal govt.. how fly by night right? Its collapse was UNTHINKABLE, yet it happened

  • @daveusaz1218

When ppl no longer know what their house (+ AAA rated investments that were based on them) are worth, the banks cant lend, since no1 knows how much collateral they have. Economists say ~50% of ALL US employees work4 a small business. If I, as an avg person want 2start a small business - & employ ppl - what do I use for collateral 4 loan2start it? My home

Housg is what caused the unemployment, & undermined our collateral (&now DOLLAR) & is issue needing addressed - NOT 'stimulus'

  • @daveusaz1218

Even your grocery store runs on credit. IF faith in credit is destroyed, the grocer cant even stock his shelves, nor can a farmer buy seed, nor gas stations buy gas. That is quite literally what was teetering on collapse when TARP was passed.

Look up 'Cloward Piven Strategy' Here's a link to an original source:

    tinyurl - DOT - com/3bcjs3p

Ask yourself WHY both Cloward & Piven were in this pic (published in Washgtn Times) when CRA reform was signed: tinyurl - DOT - com/3ckvrrd

  • @daveusaz1218

And WHY are Cloward & Piven present w Clinton during this signing?

    tinyurl - DOT - com/3mm4u5f

Here is Piven, Soros, et Al. Explaining their intentions..

    /watch?v=mBiJ6CwFUyo

If u do a quick search on Soros &/or his "Quantum Fund", you'll see that overturning economies & political activism is his forte. I can't say 100% this is happening, & u may even agree with their goals, even so,can u deny this is what such an attempted revolution looks like / & concern isn't warranted?

  • @mredstriumph Now you are just rambling on and on, sending me long messages to my mail box that ramble even more, I still think your a cave residing corporate schill using a picture of B. Franklin to try and seem American.

  • @daveusaz1218 Not wanting to assume anything on anyone's knowlewdge. The one thing in that is sometimes, finance banks will use ratios and quite often using the stock price to determine a finance rate. When every company saw theur stock prices gop down and started shrinking their dividneds-especially for preferred stock-honestly-I see this with the destruction of the Glass Stiegal act going away under Pres Clinton and sponsred by Phil Graham(pulling a train-the bipartisan orgy)

  • @mredstriumph

    1 - Fed Reserve Act - 1913 Democrat

2 - 'Securitization', 'Mortgage Backed Securities' - Invented by US Department of Housing and Urban Development (created and run by Democrats) Feb, 1970

3 - Fannie Mae, Invented by Democrats - 1938 Franklin Roosevelt - New Deal

  • Comment removed

  • Both these RepubliCrats whoring out to the same head pimp. the great tsumani is on it's way to us. The handwriting is on the wall.

  • Am I wrong or are Republicans doing the same with financial reform?? Both parties are paid off so why bother with this partisanship. At least the democrats try to help non-rich people sometimes. Right??

  • @steelsalsa wrong !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I find it ha-larious (Yes, I spelled it like that) that dumcraps thinks that the republicans in congress are at fault for not passing any dumoidiot bills even though the dumofaggots are the majority in the government. Hey, Obama, why don't you stop blaming the republicans for your fellow dumobabyeaters lapse of unholy decision.

  • Great Video! 5 Stars!

  • It is ironic that Bill Clinton overturned the Glass Steagall act which was really to blame for the 10 year economic "bomb". Then the crash happened in 2008 and the Democrats lead by Obama took out billions to fix the economic problem and hasn't completely told congress where the money has been distributed. So the Dems are fault of the economy and the GOP is to fault for the Iraq war debacle.

  • @emetds Actually-I disagree. Here is why. It was Phil Graham who sponsored the legislation under Clinton. There is always a lot of blame to go around and tax cuts for the wealthy in the midst of twqo wars was a really bad decision-it would take a Bush as a bumbling rumbling idiot to do that. On 911, they had a Bush in the whitehouse and honestly think those in the shadows would see this as a good thing.

  • Well done!

  • silly democrackheads. get that donkeys dic out of your mouths

  • not a nickel? how about 850 billion$ .....LOL i laughed so hard. i mean seriously? wtf is wrong with america to let this happen

  • Obama's Health Care Reform.... Can it hurt or help american people. .? US view points matter! See my utube profile page and discover how!

  • why does anyone listen to these ass clowns any more. Ass clowns not a bash on gays bash on the dems mascot and the fact that they think they are running a dam circuse show. Keep the stupid masses looking and the lights and the crazy show and they won't see the fact that we are selling not only their future but their kids and their kids' kids. Wake the people if this was happening over in another country we would be mad at the lose of freedom of a people but here as long Obama does it YES WE CAN.

  • thank you damn it thank you...

  • Uhhh...then why did Bush that very year increase the Freddies holdings of subprime mortgages? Why the next year did Bush

sign a Repub Bill/Act increasing mortage downpayment availability for these mortgages? Finally, show how Barney Frank in the minority was able to do ANYTHING legislatively. Prove it, or shut up.

  • Bottom Line: So long as your intentions appear "noble" (affordable housing) you can lie, cheat, steal, engage in corruption & nepotism, thumb your nose at reality, claim that people with differing views are hate mongers, all while having the MSM in your corner fighting for your re-election.

  • But don't take my word for it, ohmybentley. Lets do some simple math. Ten trillion. Yes, ten trillion was lost under Bush and the GOP these last 8 yrs. Bush added $6T to the Debt, birthed the $700B TARP, didn't pay a dime for the 2 ongoing wars, rebuilding, and VA, estimated at $2-3T, Gave Obama a record $1.3T on day 1 in office, not including the 40% loss of Wall Street value. Ten trillion plus. In billions, moron, that's TEN THOUSAND BILLION. Thank you, you Republican terrorists! Traitors!

  • Gibbs just stated on fox news that the anger they saw last night with the brown win was the same as last year. WRONG, ITs CALL ED A TIDAL WAVE OF ANGER THAT WILL SWEEP THE DEMS OUT OF OFFICE, and in 2012 the president will be sending out resumes. ECONOMY, and JOBS first. FORGET health care reform right NOW.

YOU PEOPLE HAVE NO CLUE IN WASHINGTON ON WHAT TO DO, You probably don't even know how to tie a shoe. We will ALL get in our trucks and drive to WASHINGTON to MOVE you all out of OFFICE!

  • And Obama's right on track with him. What's your point? Obama is continuing the war in Afghanistan, Still troops in Iraq, Continuing TARP, No closing of GETMO, tack on trillion dollar HC bill, tack on trillion dollar energy bill, 787billion dollar stim, %10.3 unemploy. I mean srsly. All those (save for the things that haven't passed....yet) are all unpaid for. SSI, MC, PO, Tres, DMV, DOJ, State/local gov, all broke. Who pays?

And btw, Fuck you I served my country. Who you calling a traitor.

  • @medartist01 Actually the biggest failure of American history is Obama's many tax-raises. low taxes bring jobs. high taxes kill them. And Obama has been killing a lot of jobs. Thank you.

  • Wow! There was a lot of BS in your post! Do you even have a clue about the last 10 years? Allow me to rebut:

1994 elections moved Congress to Republican due to Clinton's progressive agenda (sound familiar doesn't it? wonder what November's gonna bring!) In 2004, the House switched. In 2006, the Senate switched. Either way, when these videos were made was AFTER the Democrats had taken over Congress, giving them FULL power to regulate and legislate.

  • @conservative2009

History just isn't your strong suit, little GOPer.

Republicans controlled both the Senate and the House until January 2007 after the 2006 midterm elections. Until then, Republicans controlled the entire government including the period when these videos were made. You Republicans are always trying to blame others for the results of your incompetence. Just like 9-11. Just like after Hurricans Katrina. Just like the idiotic invasion of Iraq.

  • They rejected it because they are backed by ACORN, Fannie, Freddie, and all other subprime mortgage pushers. John McCain called for more regulation, but couldn't win these idiots over.

Wall Street "cronies" are not at fault for the housing bubble, people getting approved for houses they couldn't afford, financial institutions bundling them, and finally the stability raters inaccurate confidence (due to the gov't backing of fannie & freddie) were really at fault.

    Read a book.

  • @conservative2009

You Republicans are always trying to demonize lower income people. Subprime loans represented only 13% of defaulted loans. Please explain how that caused the collapse of both residential and commercial real estate prices.

Let's face it, the current collapse is largely the result of a failure to properly regulate the banks by the Bushees. Same thing happened in the 1980s when the Reaganauts let their bankster cronies rape the Savings and Loans.

  • Because those "unstable" loans were grouped into higher rated securities, then banks invested in those securities. So you are saying that Reagan didn't save the economy from a crisis? It was a different issue, but it still bears repeating that you can't even admit when a Republican did something right. Take a day off from MSNBC, stop reading the Daily Kos and HuffPo, then watch the video again with a less slanted and jaded mind.

  • @conservative2009

I'm fairly familiar with the securitization process. How does subprime explain the collapse in commercial and high end residential real estate values?

Let's review a little history. Unemployment was 7.2% and falling when Ronald Reagan took office. Unemployment soared to 10.8% after 2 years of Trickle Down Reaganomics. It wasn't until after Volker got inflation under control and the Repuiblicans lost the Senate in 1986 that unemployment fell significantly below 7%.

  • @AtlasShruggery Republicans do not demonize lower income people. Check 2004 and 2000 election polls. Bush had more voters with incomes of less than 100000 dollars a year than both Gore the Falsehood and Kerry the Weakling. Thank you. Also Democratic Congresses have actually always been the ones in power when economic crises come.

  • He rates among the most irresponsible reps in US history. Having this guy running a banking committee is beyond scary...it demonstrates complete lunacy.

  • you have to understand that bawney got his ass kicked on the playground too many times when he was a kid and so as a result he went for power later in life. lucky for him the congress lost all its morals somewhere along the way and he was able to worm his way in.

what an asset to america he has become.

  • Oh Gwait.

Bwarnie Fwank says "Nuffing wong wif Fannie Mae."

    No kwisis at all.

  • What an idiot Barn is. The housing crisis is his fault for refusing to do his job that he gets paid to do. Get him the hell outta there before he screws something else up.

  • it's a sham, it's all a sham..

he like the rest of these entertainers are just that...

    we are being duped folks.

    open your eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • B.Frank is an absolute moron! How the hell he stays in ANY position of power is amazing,he has no fucking idea wtf he is talking about....did anyone actually understand anything he said? Keep voting for ultra liberal democrats, this is what you get....pathetic!

  • is barney frank slightly retarded? his looks lean towards a person with down syndrome. no matter how many times you prove what the dems have done and show them with video proof that their leaders said and done it, they still dont get it. democrats can not be this stupid

  • Yes...B.Frank is definitely retarded!

  • Yeah, it had nothing to do at all with the democrats gaining control of congress in 2006 and immediately afterwards the economy going into a tailspin. It's all Bush's fault amirite? Lol. Keep drinking that kool-aide.

Maybe you should try actually watching this video before commenting next time.

  • how can you say that in 2006 the dem's started running the country ,control of the house and senate that is when it turned to shit!!! . the sub-prime morgage deal was started buy the dems, that is what killed a good bush economy!!!!

  • I know how to ruin the Democrats. First get Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck to indorse the Democrats. Thats it!!!! It will end the Democrats for good!!! Please tell me what you think.

  • This guy can't even talk right. He's one of Obama's boys. I can't believe he's in our payroll.

  • Good job. Democrats love to point the finger but now we don't have to rely on the MSM for our info.....we'll find the answers ourselves.

    Keep it up.

  • And now these jackasses have control of goverment from top to bottom.. were screwed it will take a generation "with balls" to correct the mess..by kicking but and telling it like it is..

  • I saved for 22 yrs. to buy a HOME. THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS. IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT,,DON'T BUY IT. Here we have CONGRESS giving THE AUTO MFGRS a HARD TIME,,THE DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS AND THEIR PRECIOUS FANNIE&FREDDIE CAUSED "ALL" THE FINANCIAL PROBLEMS YET THEY TRY TO MAKE "THE BIG THREE" LOOK BAD.

  • why cant u fucking americans take care of your own selves instead of waiting to be spoon fed by corporates.you people are so fucked that you cant even have a say on how your money s being spent because your heads are up your asses!!when will u bums wake the fuck up.become more individual than before please!!!

  • wha?

  • The Democrats will all burn slowly in hell, with their families. And man do they deserve it. All the problems you see now they caused them. Fredie and Fannie were DEMOCRAT inventions. This entire bubble was created by the democrats. May they all burn slowly in hell. And they surely will.

  • want funny look in the mirror

  • As George Putnam used to say "The difference between socialism and communism is the same as the difference between seduction and rape".

  • Barney better worry about the Obama communist future. Remember what China did to their food and drug administration guy after the tainted dog food scandal. They executed him.

  • We must focus all our energy on getting him removed from office. He is enemy number one. A total criminal and a fink.

  • Obama is a disgrace to America, get him the hell out somebody now please before it's to late and he destroys our country, our freedom. Our rights will be taken away.

  • This video was put out to expose the truth, a truth you can easily determine yourself by watching any congressional hearing dealing with GSE's on Cspan.

If that happens to make the democrats look bad for destroying our economy, who's fault is that?

  • HA! Make them look bad? They are bad! "Just words, just speeches!"

    No crisis, rrrrriiigggghhhhttttt....!

    Socialists united for Obama!

  • ReaganSimon RIGHT ON!! I saved for 22yrs until I could afford to buy a home. The bank wanted solid credit and 20% down. I had 30% SAVED. THERE ARE NO SHORT CUTS

  • groundhog2008 What are you deaf and blind?? The DEMS are HOLDING UP FOR THEIR BABY. Listen to Elmer Fudds(oops I mean Barney Frank) LISTEN TO THEIR WORDS. "THIS WAS NOT JUST PUT OUT" IT WAS ALL ON C-SPAN

  • lol, Elmer Fudd is exactly who he sounds like. Why do people keep reelecting this guy? Must be nice to know you're in a state where no matter how bad you f-up, you're always going to reelected by your party trolls...

  • not anymore! Scott Brown wins!!!!

  • Its a pity nobody ever watches C-span. They might actually know what they're voting for.

  • TROOF!

  • Retirement? What's retirement?

  • Good job!!! <3

  • YAAAAAA OLD WHITE GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!

  • Barney Frank should be tried for treason.
