Watchmen always reminded me of a darker version of the incredibles

or vice-a-versa since watchmen came before the incredibles and is much better

it would be great to see DC cameo golden age heroes in something like this tho

I cant wait. Zack Snyder knows what hes doing when it comes to comic movies. Just look at 300, its almost exact to the book, and acording to pre-screenings this is more a modern day noir then a superhero flick which is definately what it should be.

I have to disagree. The film's developers have released that the film has a 2 hour and 43 minute runtime, which, I have to say, is plenty of time to pace properly through the plot. If you think about it, it takes a much longer time to read and observe each panel than it does to portray it on film. I'm sure it won't move along too fast.

Why are we even discussing like it is a hard theme. by the end of the day it is only a comic, or for the better sense of the word a graphic novel that I will admit it does kick ass. great novel and all but we should not get too much into it.

All I can say regarding this movie is that I hope it will stick for the most part to the novel.

This is one of those movies I'll watch over and over again for the amazing visual shots. I'm most definitely seeing this IMAX. On another note, I can already see the critics panning the visual style for being too "desperate to be cutting edge" or something.

You shouldnt be dude Alot of people who saw advance screenings of WATCHMEN have said the movie was PHENOMENAL and just as great as THE DARK KNIGHT so I have high hopes for this movie and Plus Zack SNYDER Has stayed faithful to the source material but just altered the ending a bit and there is actually a forum online somewhere of people SPOILING THE MOVIE so AVOID at all costs if you really want to enjoy this film
