No, low velocity bullets break up at 8 ft in the water. this is an MG46 it has a 7.92mm round and is capable to break 7 ft at 200 ft and they wern't 7 ft down. they were near the surface and so that's why the bullets could go though the water and curve to hit the people that were trapped underwater and coulden't move that were sitting up stright.
Please reserch your facts you were talking about diffrent guns like the Kar98k or the MP40

T2 on the other hand delivered the goods. Another great scene would be the freeway scene in Matrix Reloaded....that might be one of the best action scenes in movie history.
T2 is meant to be Sci-fi, and it delivered as promised. You can expect that type of stuff from those movies.

@professional80 It has been tested....it's not theory it's fact. If you shoot a gun straight down, it will travel no more than 2 1/2 to 3 feet, depending on the gun, and is NON-LETHAL. The more powerful the gun, the less water travel. If you shoot at an angle, as displayed in the movie, the bullet won't travel more than a foot in depth...it is what it is, I didn't make this stuff up. It's a solid movie, probably Spielberg's last great one in fact...all his new work is garbage.

I was suprised by the inclusion of Forest Gump, I wouldn't even had thought of it. While personaly not my top 10, (definitly not the order I would have put them, Jurassic Park would be top 3) its still a good list.

Every movie uses Hollywood production to defy the laws of physics in the action genre. There is no 100% realistic action movie. Trust me.
l dare you to find a movie that has an entertaining action scene based off of reality that doesn't bend the laws of physics just for the scene.

I say terminator 2 was the best action movie ever but good job with the list. Im supprised you didn use any 300 scenes but good job all the same.

I was suprised by the inclusion of Forest Gump, I wouldn't even had thought of it. While personaly not my top 10, (definitly not the order I would have put them, Jurassic Park would be top 3) its still a good list.

those where all great movies but you shoud have hadded movies like die hard, rambo, and black hawk down. but saving private ryan is no doubt my favorite movie of all time
