  • To be onest i really don't like your interpretation is not in the spirit of Bach....leave him alone please ! I know the text is easy but you must be teached by someone that knows Bach.....and do something with your right hand....the sound is not..."perfect" hope you keep practise. And try to be relaxed, you must enjoy this.

  • Nice work!

  • Friendly tip: nice try, but this is Bach, barok...U need to use more bow, don't change the tempo ever 10 notes, u look so tense while playing this,...relax and let the music come out...play it the way U fell U should play...

P.S. I play this piece too, and I know what to do, trust me...;)

  • Nicely played even though you change the tempo. I still like it alot.

    Just a friendly tip:

Your room is small, and ruins the tail-sound of all your notes. It's like you recorded this in a drum room. Some reverb would fix this. It will boost your sound and melt the notes a little and also getting rid of those dead silent pauses between notes. It will sound air-ish also pitching the sound down will give a better base. Either this or record it in a bigger, less isolated room. Hope this helped.

  • First of all thanks for not recording in a room that sounds like a bathroom, I know bach played in churches with echo but not quite like some of these You tube videos Ive seen...yowser, I think that alone puts u up there..lol!!

  • i can to this better :P but hey, nice try

  • vaya puta mierda, tocas fatal chaval... me has hecho perder el tiempo... aprende a tocar y luego cuelga videos, payaso

  • This piece is in D minor not C....

  • Bravo!!! Good work, just relax a little more when you play. Take a glass of wine first.

  • as someone has already said, intonation is good.

You are much too stiff from the elbow to the fingers. This is potentially your problem with vibrato. To fix this for you right hand do really fast bow strokes until your wrist loosens up...I like to do them by the frog to help my bow changes but whatever works for you.

  • awesome! lol work on the vibrato, but u play really well

  • hey this is good. i like your intonation but keep practicing ya kno? haha ;)

  • i like how your left hand is stable.

  • also, work on your bowhold as well. it seems kinda slanted. I used to have the same habit 2

  • Actually, you have the opposite problem most people have. Usually if people have a slant, it's the other way. Your slant is the tip of the bow is towards your left ear which is unusual.

  • the tempo is all wrong

Practise your tempo. use a metronome or something

  • Its all about interpreting the melody. ot about sticking to notes on the score. It doesn't really matter here. It has no accompaniment. So the instrumentalist has more freedom, while still playing within the intended guidelines of the composer

  • you interpreted it well, but what i meant was that bach lived in the baroque era. He wrote for mostly himself and he played in chuches. What i meant was that you are not showing the style of Bach and the way he intended it to be. Also, it wasn't that i meant that your tempo fluctuated all of a sudden (though someplaces they did), but I meant that through the song your tempo changed. Another thing, you should work on the phrasing of the song to be the way he made it.

  • Try to leasen the amount of "Breathing" in your song.. but good job on it.. keep working hard =]

  • sounds good.

    but try using more bow.

    just move it faster.

  • sounds prety good man. work on not stopping and loosen up. u seem too tense. have fun w/ it! =)

  • why couldnt good looking guys like yourself go to my music academy =[

  • It doesn't sounds bad, but you should first fix tempo problems, and maybe you also could try a pretty most intense vibrato. And before start playing, just put the bow over the violin when you are very close to play, because you put the bown there but it looks like you are hesitating about how to start, that doesn't looks good on stage.

  • do not think so much about it, that is when it will not come out so stiff. work on it in sections to work out some phrasing and that is when I think you will be very pleased with the results!

    not bad though.

  • your b flats tend to be a little too sharp. also, though i'm well aware phrasing is very important with bach, you are taking from the tempo in some spots without giving back in others. basically, if you want to slow down in one part of a measure, its best speed up soon after.

  • tempo problems...

  • beautiful! i was practicing sonata 1 and got bored so i logged on to the tube...came across your bach vids :D

  • excellent work. work on the bowing, especially bow pressure on up and down bows. Sometimes it's not good when up bow is too light and down bow naturally stronger.

  • Very nice job!:D I thing that the bow was good used...because he has to play in C2-C3...just wen he was in forte(f) he coulded play with more bow.....and it would be good if you play some passages in Forte(f) and piano(p) too...any way,it was very good!:D:D:D BRAVOOO!!!:DP.S,I hope your not sad about the critics:( :-s

  • actually his bow length is fairly good, a bit to high but other than that its good. This is bach if you use too much bow youll be lost and the music is written to be a bit brushstroke so kudos to you for the job well done :D

  • this allemande is listed in the series 8 grade 7 AMEB exams!!!

  • good job...u could've used some more vibrato...good sound, use more dynamics and shape it

  • that violin look like it's a 3/4, or maybe you're really big!

  • This partita is actually in D minor

  • umm vibratoo make this ousnd liek as if bach wudl liked it

  • I agree more bow but it's really pretty clean I liked it. You use about a third of the bow per stroke O_o more more!!

  • hey dude...use more bow...but however, nice try

  • You played wicked, quite marvelous !
