Just watched all three paradise lost documentaries. Unbelievable story, I don't know how I have never heard of this story. Shows just how much corruption there really can be in this country, especially in redneck white trash areas like Tennessee/Arkansas. You can never give these men 18 years of there life back. The justice system of this state is as foul now as they were 18 years ago.
The only reason these 3 fellows had to give a plea to escape an illegal imprisonment was to protect the reputation of a few of the justice systems biggest crooks. This covers the police, states attorneys, judge and jury and anyone else who worked for the state in convicting these young fellows who weren't much more than children themselves.

Watching this, I feel absolutely horrible for Jessie. As a teenager, after being interrogated for an entire day straight, he couldn't have possibly comprehended the gravity of his "confession." Only now does he understand how damning his actions were, and he doesn't deserve the shame he surely feels. Justice has not been served so long as they are seen as guilty in the eyes of the state, but I hope they find solace in knowing that they are 100% innocent in terms of public opinion.

I live in Marion where the WM3 are from and I'm happy to say they are free. I was born after this all happened but growing up you hear all about it and my parents never let me go anywhere by myself because them 3 boys got killed. They were only locked up because the case was handled wrong and the city wanted to hurry up and arrest someone without evidence. But that person or group who did do that will have to live the rest of their life knowing they killed 3 boys and messed up 3 people's lifes
So basically three guilty as hell criminals get to walk. It is guaranteed that some or all of these kids will be right back in jail on related crimes soon enough.
If they had locked me up for 18 years when I was innocent I know full well that I wouldn't be that calm. Justice hasn't quite been served here, but it's a start.
Im so happy they are finally out.. After so many years. Last time Damien got to hold his son was in the courtroom before they were even convicted. Im glad they finally get to have freedom. @CraziGYul Very true, and part of it (the mental part) will never be over. Something like that stays with you and tortures you the rest of your life. Meanwhile the inept and corrupt judge, police and prosecutor's go on with their lives happily after destroying three, without so much as a reprimand or an apology. Amazing. Thank god they are not the norm in this country-- but there are enough of them (AND dumbass jurys) to make it scary. I know the WM3, will have lots of support though.

Read all of the case details, etc, etc. and it was one of the worst cases of injustice I have ever read or heard about. My faith in humanity has been restored just that much more today! Too bad the morally bankrupt prosecutor and judge will not even get a slap on the wrist.

The justice system of this state is as foul now as they were 18 years ago.
The only reason these 3 fellows had to give a plea to escape an illegal imprisonment was to protect the reputation of a few of the justice systems biggest crooks. This covers the police, states attorneys, judge and jury and anyone else who worked for the state in convicting these young fellows who weren't much more than children themselves.

Watching this, I feel absolutely horrible for Jessie. As a teenager, after being interrogated for an entire day straight, he couldn't have possibly comprehended the gravity of his "confession." Only now does he understand how damning his actions were, and he doesn't deserve the shame he surely feels. Justice has not been served so long as they are seen as guilty in the eyes of the state, but I hope they find solace in knowing that they are 100% innocent in terms of public opinion.

Even though seeing these men freed after everything that they have been through is amazing, I hope that no one ever forgets the stupid, ignorant prosecutors and detectives that put them there. Damien, Jessie, and Jason were wrongly accused and convicted by men who could have cared less if they did it or not. I live in Marion where the WM3 are from and I'm happy to say they are free. I was born after this all happened but growing up you hear all about it and my parents never let me go anywhere by myself because them 3 boys got killed. They were only locked up because the case was handled wrong and the city wanted to hurry up and arrest someone without evidence. But that person or group who did do that will have to live the rest of their life knowing they killed 3 boys and messed up 3 people's lifes

Im so happy they are finally out.. After so many years. Last time Damien got to hold his son was in the courtroom before they were even convicted. Im glad they finally get to have freedom. Damien can be happy with his wife and Jessie and Jason can finally be with they people they love. That day was one of the happiest in my life. Just being able to say that they are finally out means more than words can explain.

i'm shocked and saddened at how cruel and dumb the people living on this world can be. i'm ashamed to call myself human at times. and if i knew about this case years ago, i certainly would have given these innocent, brave men my full support.
