dont get me wrong i think skillet is amazing live and they put on an amazing show but I think that they are sooo over-rated seriously Red deserves more fans than them and so does tfk!!!! If you dont like Red because they scream then look at their songs not alone, pieces, never be the same, and best is yet to come. Seriously Red needs to be recognized and i hate when over-rated bands are known better than the best. I like skillet but they always sound the same!!!

You know, it's the subtle things that make songs infinitely better. For example, the keyboard choir in the background during the verses in this song: they're so subtle that you almost can't hear them, but they dictate the feel of the song far more than most people probably realise.

That said, this song is so amazing in every way that it would still be a great song even without the keyboard choir.

I too try to notice all the elements of a song and how they dictate the feel of said song. If I were to hear this one without the choir I would most certainly notice its absence. That said, that would only be because I heard the version *with* the choir first. If I were to hear a version of this without the choir before this one, I would hear this one and think, "Wow, the addition of the choir makes this song so much better."

Though Skillet's came out first, i couldn't help but notice that it was so incredibly underwhelming. But then this came out. I never ever cared for TFK, ever. But after hearing this album. I finally realized why Skillet's album felt so underwhelming, because it didn't sound like this.

this is so much better than Skillet's new CD. Sorry but it's true. While Skillet focused on cliche radio friendly ballads, Thousand Foot Krutch focused on hard rocking innovative songs. Skillet is still my favorite band though :)
