i prefer the other story they was gonna have for this movie, freddy is a joke and no one fears him, he is a crippled and destroyed creature who is tormented by the children of elm street who actually put themselves to sleep just to beat hime up but one perso goes into a coma and is unablde to wake up so freddy gets his powers back and has a little fun

Seeing it in old school 3D was awesome and it went out with a bang but Freddy vs. Jason was the real sequel to this movie ignoring the quite good alternate universe New Nightmare story.

@Johnlindsey289 Yeah, this was the last old school 3D movie i saw in theaters and i thought it was a really cool way to end the series. New Nightmare was fantastic and Freddy vs. Jason was a really fun monster mash sequel.
