You need to serve AT LEAST 5 years as a Constable before being eligible for the ETF. It's the most challenging division of the Toronto Police, only select individuals.
so like if one wants to get into etf wat r the requirements? like if ur regular cop can u just join etf after writing couple of tests or do u need to serve some years in the army?
Well you see you can get into the E.T.F. being just a cop. I am not too sure about how many a personal would need to serve before applying for the team. I am 17 and i am going to go in the RCMP. You have to serve 2 years being a regualr street cop then you can send a resume for the E.R.T. BUT yesssss they do like people from the milatary. Not ground troops like from the JTF or the Canadian Special Operations. I am not sure i might join the army but im palling to just go in rcmp. Hope i answerd u
