  • Aw, the darlings! I was about to say they should call you "Mammy", but it looks like they've already covered that! Do you have a favorite character?

  • I love Mammy! But Miss Scarlett is right up there too! It's funny......I don't have to Nanny for these girls any more because they are all in school now (but I still see them twice a week!), and I now Nanny for a Baby Girl named SCARLETT!! Scarlett is going to have a baby Sister in December, and I keep telling the family that they should name the baby "Sue Ellen"!

Do you have a favorite Character?

  • Oh, how lovely! I don't know a single person with the name "Scarlett", although I've always had a thing for writing stories, and I had actually used the name "Scarlet" for one of my shrewder characters, only back then I hadn't a clue what GWTW was and her last name was Taylor not O' Hara. They should definitely name the baby Suellen! Or they could name her Susan Elinor, because that was Suellen's full name. How old is this Scarlett darling? As soon as she's of age she must watch GWTW!

  • Scarlett turned 14 months yesterday.....and let me tell you! She wears the name "Scarlett" well! She can charm anyone (she is very cute and flirty), but you will need to RUN FOR THE HILLS when she gets mad!! She is a very funny little girl :-)

  • How perfectly fitting! My mom has bothered me with the name Scarlett a couple of times. Sh says when I was little and I was upset, I'd get the dirt from one of the plants in the living room and sprinkle it around the house. And my dad had to keep an eye on me 24/7 when he punished me in "the chair" because if not I'd run away when he wasn't looking. And my mom told him to let me out of 'the chair" because she felt bad but my dad said no because he had to discipline me or I'd never learn. lol

  • A few days ago I was nagging at my Ma to find her measuring tape so I could see how many inches I measured up and she couldn't find it so I kind of threw a fit. And yesterday she came home from the stores and she walked in to my room and said "Fiddle-dee-dee, here" (guess I'm fiddle-dee-dee now) and she threw a pink measuring tape on my bed. I shrieked so loud when I saw it! XD lol

  • I almost forgot to answer your last question! My favorite character would definitely be Scarlett! And Rhett is high up there, too! I love most of the characters though, Melanie, Belle, and Mammy were wonderful as well. The ones I absolutely detested were Prissy for her voice and uselessness, India for always hating on Scarlett, and Suellen for always whining and complaining. I also found it terrible when Scarlett's mother died because she was so sweet and Scarlett never said goodbye.

  • All I ask for, is that I have kids like this. And if not, I'll just have to force them to watch Gone With the Wind. And LIKE IT too!

  • Haha! These girls LOVE "GWTW"!

  • You lucky thing, you! I just finished watching it with my best friend today, she's a total Melanie, and I was thrilled to hear her say that Scarlett was her favorite character. We kind of reflect those characters, her as Melanie and me like Scarlett, except I've never really hated her. Although, I have made her more like me. And half the time were complete opposites, but surprisingly opposites attract better than most think. Tell me, do you love GWTW too? Or is it just your daughter?

  • Pardon me, I meant to say daughters.

  • OMG...HOW CUTE ARE THESE KIDS!

  • They just LOVE this movie! Thank you for your comments!

  • Aw, how adorable! These kids are great!

  • Thanks! They LOVE "Gone with the Wind"!
