definitely a ltz400 reliable low matinence and plenty of power out of the factory. my friend is about 250 lbs and still pulls up the front end in 3rd.

@arcchris u can take the spark arrestor out of the stock exhaust and remove the airbox lid and it will be fine if u re-jet it.

ive noticed that when i let my kfx400 idle for a minute or two i get on it and it smokes for a second or too..anyone know whats causing this?

if itsWHITE smoke you could have a blown headgasket, or worse cracked cylinder or cylinder head. and if its BLUE then your burning oil (valve seals, rings, etc) hope that helped

This is the full system that i put on, when i back up and stop for a second and the camera zooms in u can hear the rev limiter because i am in reverse. The only thing i can done to this quad is the k&N and the full sysdtem yosh, with the spark arrestor and core still in, It made a HUGE difference in power, the quad is much much faster and louder as a result. I am extrmely happy with it.

yeah taking the spark arrestor isn't bad for the engine the only reason its there is too keep the exhaust packing from flying out of the exhaust after being burnt to prevent a fire which i have never heard of happening

i got dat same pipe on my ltz250 wit dyno jet stage 2 jets and moose racing air filter sounds nice i ride wit da silencer out most of da time more powa especially wit jet kits
