im writing a composition, and just wondering about some of the techniques you used. what do you call the head-tilt/fall thing at 1:48?

and the really hard tounging thing at 1:56?

Yes, that's a tongue ram, but it didn't come through very well here so it's not a great example of what it should sound like. I'll post some other videos that make some of these techniques clearer, though a tongue ram is much better live than on recording.

@AlbertHCManders ok thanks! ill be sure to try out using one in a composition soon! : ). i've used flutter tounge and key clicks on my bassoon, but key clicks are 2 quiet for orchestra I think. I guess ive done the equivalent of a tongue ram 2 but again its too quiet lol.
