Black series hands down. the corvette styling isn't even new anymore, the honda fit is just gay, the audi just looks like an audi, the gt-r doesnt wow me anymore( its just your average supercar, if there is one), the 370z should not even be condidered and the cts-v isn't really that impressive.

Comment on the GTI review, regarding the seat belt. I noticed a seat belt holder mounted on the seat. If you had the shoulder belt running through it like your supposed to, it would not be as far away and easier to grab. Might want to look more closely next time.

Now that they have resolved the blown transmission warranty issue, my vote goes to the GT-R. It's the only really fast car I can actually realistically afford to purchase, but then I will be very poor and homeless afterward. It wouldn't be the first time I'd have to sleep in my car though so I think I'll live :)

I vote for the GTR also. I've seen only one here in Spain and it immediately grabbed me and my friends' attention (as well as many others on the street). I also agree with your reasoning regarding the GTR, the 370z and zr1 (though I have yet to see the last 2). All three seem to be great value for money performance cars.

I personally think the Mk V GTI looked better, And I was hopeing the Mk VI would have a new power plant. Or at least upgraded to push out 230- 250hp and more torque. I would still much rather have a MK II GTI with a Mk V powerplant though. I just love the Mk II styling, with euro lights, and a drop.

I am so excited to hear about the A1...Such a fan of small sporty cars.

GTI a great car as always...but I am so confused!

The regular golf is a 2.5L and this is only a 2.0L?

Further the golf is 170hp compared to the gti's 200hp.

Now as a savvy consumer, I would just buy the golf, throw a turbo in it, a nice set of summer wheels and tires and maybe....maybe tweak the suspension. You would save thousands of dollars and get essentially the same car minus the badge.

I don't get why people have such heated verbal brawls with each other about which is the better car. (gt-r vs. zr-1) to be honest.. first it is all a matter of opinion. some say the gt-r lacks a soul. others think it is a masterpiece. it's all subjective in the end. some feel it must be the fastest car that wins. i personally think that a great car should be one that is memorable in design and displays a soul that only car enthusiasts such as myself and many others would understand.
