This version is NOT the original. This version is from 1992 that came as an extra track from the "A Letter to Elise" CD single. The original version is far better than this one, it starts with keyboard intro and they use a "citar" effect on the guitar arrangements, even Robert's voice is deeper in that version, which can be found in the "Join the Dots' b-sides compilation. Is the same version that can be heard at the end of the "Picture Show" music videos compilation that came in VHS in 1991.

This should have been on Wish (instead of the woeful 'Wendy Time'). I could never understand why it wasn't. that said, I much prefer the live version of this song they played at Town & Country II in 1991 - the guitar parts are different, and there is a really good background guitar bit which is missing from this version. Do like the middle guitar bit on this version though...

I have always loved this song!! This song is so moving! It just touches me on so many emotional levels! The melody is so beautiful!! I have loved The Cure for 27 years now and they have never ceased to amaze me with all their beautiful songs and melodies. What an awesome and amazing band!!
