This was the ALL MY CHILDREN that I really LOVED. There were stories from the HEART. Sadly, the show lost so much of that, which was what made is so special, IMO. As talented as David Canary is, I think the introduction of Adam Chandler changed the show because the population of wealthy characters vs. the middle class was shifted - and the I had trouble identifying with the show after that.

She and three of her friends were going to a bingo game and a bus sideswiped them. it was not KC's fault (she was driving). Though it was sad when the actors that played Mona, Phoebe, Myrtle, etc., passed away, they basically died of natural causes (old age, heart trouble, cancer, etc.), but KC was in perfect health when she was killed (even though she was 80).

Also, the tears were real.  There was no acting going on here in the grieving.

Sadly, Kay Campbell (Grandma Kate) was killed in a tragic automobile accident in May in New York when a bus slammed into the car she was driving (I believe her friends that were in the car with her died too. She managed to live a few weeks before passing away in the hospital).

Too sad, always loved Kate and Tad together.
