i find rose's story the most confusing, the others are quite straight forward, just im confused at the fact she wants to fly, then there is alot of water involved in her story, it just is confusing

Meeting the wolf is facing yourself, your fears and your childishness. When you met him, you become an adult, because you then know, that the world isn't as nice, funny and colourful as you thought it is.
THAT is, why it can only be a success, if you get raped, killed or whatever happens. Because the character is only then able to learn the truth about the world.
This is probably the scariest ending of them all. The music is happily unsettling. The house is like walking through a scary mansion. But it shows the ignorance some desire to a fault. There is deep meaning to it that no one likes seeing.
It's an art game, so it means different things to different people. Some say the path is a big metaphor for life with granny's house representing death. As you can probably tell, this game takes a lot from the Little Red Riding hood mythos, so the wolf can represent danger, desire, temptation and a number of other things.
@JuJuLiams she's not dead. If you look closely, she opens her eyes at the end. Although it is still a bit creepy how her house has a severe lack of colors.

Looking at her from the angle at 2:42 , I can't help but think that maybe Grandma escaped from Area 51 at some point in her life.
