What is truly great about this video is that the male lion after hugging his friends introduced them to his wife - the female lion is actually a wild lion, untamed by man but not attacking the men on account that they are her hubby's mates!
Here' the amazing thing: we have cats who cannot as adults refrain from clawing us when they love on us, and they especially like to pinch our bare skin. What stops these lions from grasping with claws?
Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
According to the Bible, there was a time when Man communicated and loved the animals and there will be a time that returns, perhaps the 1000 years of peace. We suspect the animals spoke in the Garden of Eden as Eve was not shocked when the Serpent spoke.
It is a great video and a lovely story. Still, we have to remember that these are wild animals and Mother Nature could allow them to show their true nature at anytime. A word of caution! (But is IS a lovely story.)
Maybe that is thier true nature. Respect and honor go a long way, even with animals. Treating them like garbage is sure to give interesting results when they encounter us.
I heard that this is a video of 2 guys who raised this lion as a cub - and it's the reunion, years later, and when they were told at the sanctuary that she wouldn't remember them... Isn't it fabulous?
