I'm a studying chemical engineer in Ireland and I am interesting in exchanging for a year to University of Melbourne, if anyone can give me a feeling for what the education is like and/or a internet site I can investigate I would be very appreciative.
greetings. want to know something really cool that the professors at the uni. of melbourne and ASIO (aka the mickey mouse club) and the australian government dont want anyone to know...........go to you-tube site "mechanical engineering superengineer99" and press "see all" to find my 3 hidden comments.
OMG i can't decide whether studying chemical engineering or industrial engineering. I just CAN'T. Some ppl say chems are not being well-paid. Industrial has so much more opportunities. On the other hand, Ind Eng., is well-paid and you have a huge jobmarket out there. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.
I am doing chemical engineering at Curtin University of technology in Perth and it is SO HARD !!!!!! ... well i heard that third and 4th year will be easy .. but what i am doing now ( 2nd year ) is the toughest !!!!
yes of course :) it's all maths applied on some basics of chemistry ! except for the two chemistry units that you do in second year ( Organic chem ) and ( inorganic Chem ) ... and the maths is all about ( integration and differentiation ) if you're good in them ! you'll do great ! :)
wow.. very interesting video.. complicated but i enjoy it..

What's hard about it? I want to take it when I get older. I am only 13 years old. I just want to know what I can before the time actually comes.

@Zihab2000 any chemical engineering program that gets easier has to be a JOKE.

@omzo0079 no its no true, you need two math courses in second year whereas you need 4-5 chemistry courses in 2nd year.
