You are a fool. America and the UK supported him in killing the kurds. there are many who are worse and for some reason they're allowed to go on killing...
You say we did not put Saddam into power. This is quite interesting. You should look into the iraqi history from the period of 1918-1992. See how the U.S. and U.K. have influenced, wars, policies, and leadership in the area.
Do this before you apoligize for the errors this government and before you condemn the basis of actions for which you are ill informed about.
Who gives a fuck how he got power. Jesus Christ himself could have installed him as dictator, but it still doesn't change the fact the So-dam In-sane was a fucking bastard who killed and tortured way to many people. It wasn't the US or UK's fault that this ass became such a prick.
These idiots just want any excuse to support the continued reign of, what did you call him, "So-dam In-sane" (like it!). They think that "we put him in power" somehow exempts us of the responsibility to remove him. I've never understood that; it's like refusing to pay to replace an item that you broke precisely because you're the one who broke it! It's completely back to front! I'm glad to see there are people here who hate Hussein as much as me though.
Saddam came to power through his own means. We tolerated him in the 80s that was wrong. Enplane how he was put in power. No one is telling Iraqies how to live they are deciding for them selves and trying to rebuild your country. Ha barley handle insurgents, if by barely handle you mean kill everyone who doesn't just plant a bomb and run. Russian isn't going to back Iran, and China isn't going to get anahiliated by their biggest trading partner to stick up for a loser nation like Iran.
...nice comeback? The fact that you think the Atomic bombs being dropped signify some sort of huge death toll in the 20th century shows how ignorant you are. Fuck the Algerians killed more than that in their civil war. The Turks killed millions of Armenians, the communist killed more people in 5 years than the entire Vietnam War did in 15. The Barbary pirates of North Africa (Muslims) enslaved and killed millions of Americans and Europeans until we slapped them around.
I don't see how that is Ignorant. The Armenian genocide was 28 years before the dropping of the atomic bomb. Also didn't Hitler say something about no one caring about the Armenians? You consider a functioning democracy with representative government in place of a genocidal dictator a failure. American has won the war in Iraq despite the best efforts of Islamic fascists to stop them. We don't need to fight Iran, Israel could take care of them for us.
Saddam was a genocidal figure that YOU put in place.
No one can tell Iraqis how to live, 90% of them want you out and the only safe place in Iraq is the green zone (10% of iraq). Iraq was better of with Saddam then when USA invaded. So if you see this as a "win" you are well and truly stupid.
Iran is backed by China and Russia this why USA are hesitating to go to war. You can barely handle insurgents let alone an organised millitary. Vietnam all over again. Beleive me. Tech dont mean shit
The war in Iraq is a resounding success. Al queda is devastated, destroyed and discredited. Local governments are expressing their autonomy without being beaten down by Bathist oppression. Saddam Hussein is dead and the Kurdish people are no longer under threat of extermination by lethal gassing. Yes, many lives have been lost - but this in no way makes the entire enterprise a "complete failure."
Stop drinking your liberal Kool Aid and tear your eyes away from the New York Times for a minute.
America put Saddam Hussein in power, so that means they have no responsibility to remove him? I can't pay for the replacement of your window because I'm the one who broke it! You do realize that is completely back to front don't you?
Reagan gave Saddam poison gas to kill Iranians and Saddam did what Reagan wanted but he just gassed some Kurds on the side.
Poison gas is illegal under International Law and USA making it is illegal. But USA is above the law or specifically Republican presidents are above the law.Under International Law its just as illegal to gas Iranians as it is to gas Kurds and the criminals include every1 who was involved which includes those who supplied Saddam with the gas with instructions to use it
-So he made that decision on the kurds himself, your statement before is false regarding the kurds.
second: republicans as well as democrats are above the law..you saying especially republicans is ridiculous and discredits you as far as I'm concerned, democrats aren't any better, not at all. they are also both taking away civil liberties in a fast pace.
Oh Yh It gets better they did not charge Saddam with any crimes while he was an american puppet in the eighties. they have indictments from 1974, and indictments from 1991, but none from when Cheney and Reumsfeld were feeding Iraq WMD! What a strange coincidence!
Not as much as the US- I cant remeber where I saw the digits but the US were by far the main suppliers of the chemical weapons
well im glad you agree with the rest of the points but the fact remains that this war is illegal therefore the hanging of saddam was illegal and the soldiers fighting in Iraq are actually war criminals
Try hundreds of thousands of people. Tortured to death. Buried alive. Pull your head out of your ass and realize it's worse to kill innocent people than to sell weapons. Obviously.
You just make up facts as you go don't you. Everyone sold weapons to the Iraqis the Russians the Chinese the French. The ol USA provided 2% of Iraqs arms. They supported Saddam mostly with Intelligence vs the Iranians. Gotta love those American Built t-72s and Mig-29s ehh..
Well the fact is America has killed more innocents than any other country on the planet.
Vietnam, Hiroshima, Nagasaki the list go's on.
Not only that you have the cheek to tell who can and can't have nuclear weapons. and no I dont make up facts as I go along, whatever I say has solid proof otherwise I wouldn't bother wasting my time.
i think those totals still do not put us near the total of the top of total lives killed than any other country. germany killed millions in one war. how am i an idiot by asking you to prove your claims with statisics? you're an idiot by apealing to sensationalism and histeria and no the whole world does not see us as murderers. In fact are loved by many african nations. on top of that, that arguement is an arguement appealing to the masses. try googleing logical fallacy
The US congress voted for the war. UN resolutions 1441 and security council resolution 687 legitimise the attack and the International Criminal Court reported there was no evidence of any unprosecuted crimes against humanity. The USA also has a veto in the UNSC.
"I have indicated (the invasion) was not in comformity with the U.N. charter..... from the charter point of view it was illegal." - Kofi Annan U.N. secretary general 1997-2007
Kofi Annan was U.N secretary general. The matter is in the hands of the security council, which U.S and U.K have the power of veto over, and not the U.N.O as a whole. To my knowledge, this power was not used anyway.
The vatican alligned itself with fascism and nazism. In addition to this, George Galloway(a catholic) alligned himself with both Saddam Hussein and Tariq Aziz. And they have the nerve to tell us what and not what to do. Sadistic and solipsistic mammals.
What it boils down to, he is essentially an imperialist warmonger. I enjoy his religious arguments but I cannot agree with or respect anything he says on political matters. It is not based on truth.
I sincerely hope that Galloway is not actually a hero in the United Kingdom. I doubt this assertion on behalf of the obvious intelligence of the the people in the UK. Hitchens is obnoxious, and obviously the war in Iraq has been a mistake over time, but i want to see someone here disprove his logic, considering Galloway merely resorts to irrelevant ad hominem attacks towards Hitchens that, frankly, seem analogous to the Galloway fans here calling people names.
That's absurd. Honestly, did you even hear the last 5 mins of Hitchen's remarks? It was purely attacks and guilt by association bullshit which Galloway did far better than swat down in Washington. I'm a huge fan of Hitch when it comes to religious topics, but he is dead wrong on Iraq. The issue isn't that we took down Saddam, the issue is the measure that we had to stoop to to do so. It sets the precedence for war with Iran and anyone else who the Bush administration feels needs regime change.
Hitchen's personal attacks towards Galloway are constructive to his argument though. Galloway did not swat down any accusations, instead he merely insulted the men at the hearing and subsequently told the press that there was a conspiracy against him. Truly a pathetic man.
Yeah he's such a hero that he supports a (now deceased) genocidal maniac, argues for terrorists (who butcher their own people when left alone) and makes cheap attacks at americans just for the support of the vulgar mob. If the people of the UK need him as a hero then it must have slipped far indeed. War sucks but sometimes its better than allowing a murdering bastard to continue his work.
that fascist appeasing, islamic fanatic loving slug Galloway may be a hero to you but please don't speak on behalf of the entire UK; our American and foreign friends on youtube may not know that he's regarded by most thinking people as an idiot.
lombard, I see you resort to petty name calling when people provide examples of incidents which disprove your laughable excuse that the US military does not kill civlians. So because Saddam tortures and kills, it's ok for the US to engage in Abu Ghraib type death and torture? Of course you'll probably resort to childish insults, which seems to be consistent with those who choose to either be willfully ignorant, or uninformed.
As the saying goes; the American system of government is the worst on earth.... if it weren't for all the other ones.
There are more than two parties, but the two main parties have all the money. Still, no one could claim that American government is not free or representative, claiming otherwise is paranoid false liberal claptrap.
Yes, thats a cute slogan but, again, while the U.S. political system has problems and is certainly influenced by money, the idea that it is not free or a democracy, or a republic to be more specific, is ridiculous and paranoid. No one is stopping people from voting for a third party candidate or someone less orthodox like Ron Paul (not that I would have voted for him)
its easy to fix all that has to be done is a limit put on funds and equal amount of media time its been done in other countries its pretty easy to see that who ever the media supports influences people more than the actual issues and by the way ireland had over half its population murdered or forced to leave due to imperalism it was a genocide unparalleled and we have never recieved anything not even an apology it seems to sum up your ignorance you have on matters even hitchens supports us ha
Yes, I've heard Hitchens say he believes Northern Ireland should be united with the rest of the island. I think that's something that the Irish should sort out; my point, however, is that you can't kill civilians, for any reason, even if your side is right. I never claimed to be a supporter of British imperialism.
I wouldn't have a problem with equal time for both sides.
by saying that your just proving to be a hypocrite because you say its fine for america to kill innocent people in the name of democracy but when the irish were doing it and being labelled by the world as terrorists they should get jail time thats all they were fighting for the right to self determination of a people over themselves and nation thats now what the insurgents are fighting for,if america WANTS a democratic iraq leave and let the people work it out they took out the supposed threat
Now thats just absurd every heard of Fallujah theyve killed so many innocent people there even the soliders have come out and said that they had orders to kill everybody just look up Iraq civilian deaths see the figures if america leaves it would not make things worse how can they get worse vast majority of iraq wants you out by staying they are cancelling out the democratic purpose which they are meant to serve
Get the fuck out of here. People get killed accidentally in war. If you point to isolated incidents where soldiers may have intentionally killed civilians then you're even more of a low life than I thought, trying to grasp at any straw to make America look bad, in the service of your Jihadist masters.
jesus you really are ignorant my god i can name countless ocassions in the past fifty years where america or its agencies have purposely killed innocent people from the contras to vietnam to helping in operation gladio in europe(cia)where they bombed buses and schools in italy they even killed a minister look it up it seems killing innocent people is the precedent rather than the isolated incident you percieve it to be in these so called wars
No one has claimed that the U.S. has not done these things, but they are isolated incidents and the notion that one would compare the U.S. to the Jihadists is simple garbage. You're jealous and angry at the United States, and this is your outlet; side with terrorism. Which is why you're a disgusting person. If the west were so bad you would be in prison for sedition.
jealous of america thats funny say good bye to your economy because of this war, enjoy borrowing billions from china and using the money to fund places like abu grab prision
The U.S. in a bad year has a better economy than Ireland will ever have.
Abu Ghraib? Go fuck yourself, will you? You people are vile. All you can do is point to isolated incidents because you hate the U.S. and whatever straw there is to grasp at you'll go for. Meanwhile you'll look away w hen Saddam tortures and kills or when terrorists kill children and bomb markets and behead people. That doesnt bother you; it only bothers you when those rich Yanks do it, because you're a Socialist scum bag.
Hitchens won the debate. Galloway is a terrorist sympathizer and if the west were nearly as oppressive as he and his ilk says it is he would be in prison for sedition. What would happen to an American sympathizer living among terrorists? They would be beheaded. In the west, if you sympathize with the enemy, not only will nothing happen to you but you can get elected to government office and can sell books, too.
To borrow from Hitchens; if Galloway were given an enima...
Typical American shit you cant even present an arguement just label me a terrorist Hitchens lost and has been proved wrong on everything he said Galloway was right its a simple fact for any intelligent person to comprehend
Hitchens kicked Galloway's ass and exposed him as a terrorist sympathizer. Then there's little pieces of garbage like you who enjoy western freedoms while pretending like the west is the real evil.
i think i touched a nerve the simple fact is that the west is a piece of shit capatilistic waste basket of distorted minds and socities like america and britian i mean honestly to even try and justify the killing of 650000 innocent people for oil and thats what it was all about bud shows a seriously warped mind have you ever thought about men women and children being blown to pieces all for oil.my country had to fight for its freedoms for 800 years against mind sets like yours so i will enjoy em
Socialist terrorist sympathizing false liberal thugs who want to support Bin Ladenist terrorism all in the name of crushing western freedoms are the lowest form of human life and if the west was anywhere near as bad as they said it was they would be in prison for sedition.
The United States is trying to rebuild Iraq. The insurgency is trying to destroy its infrastructure. An Iraqi is more likely to be killed by another Iraq or another Muslim than by an American soldier. So go f-ck yourself.
funny you see western freedoms are not being destroyed by the cia trained and sponsored bin ladens of the world but by the western governments who are feveriously passing laws that destroy our most basic human rights such as free speech, the right of a people to self determination, torture etc and honestly think that america and the coalition forces are trying to help the iraqs just look up SAS Agents captured dressed as arabs instigating violence
Yeah, and yet you can comment on youtube and say any disgraceful thing you want about the U.S. and the west. In the west you can criticize your own government, if you were in the Mid East and tried to criticize the very terrorist scum that you're supporting they would behead you or blow up your car.
The terrorists are the greatest killers, torturers, repressors, theocrats aggressors and abusers of human rights on this planet; not the U.S.
What the fuck you have to understand i come from a country that for 800 years was under british imperalist rule and for us the only way to resist this explotation of our lands was terrorism and for fuck sake america has killed more innocent people than any middle eastern terrorist organisation and the most repressive regimes in the middle east are supported by the west like saudi arabia and pakistan come on take a look at the broader picture theres millions dieing in africa + nothings done why?
Irish terrorists are as bad as Arab terrorists. They both belong in prison and then in hell. No cause justifies killing civilians. Those Irish pretend to be Catholics but they must have missed what St. Augustine said about just war if they think terrorism is justified.
The Jihadists are the greatest purveyors of aggression, torture, violence and repression in this world; not the United States.
I believe we should go into the Sudan and stop the genocide; though, if we did, some Socialist piece of garbage like yourself would call us bullies and imperialists. Nothing the United States does will satisfy those people, because the United States represents true freedom and democracy; something socialists thugs and terrorist sympathizers hate. They prefer redistribution and theocracy to Enlightenment principals.
The only reason they wont go into sudan is because theres no money to be made and to think that America repersents true freedom and democracy your disillusioned do you honestly believe that?come on man thats just ridiculous you are trying to say you live in a free country but even look at your political system you think thats democracy how can a two party system represent the whole population and is it true that some people votes count more than others depending on region
I would concede the point about Sudan, but it doesn't change the fact that the U.S. simply cannot intervene anywhere anymore without sharp criticism. I do love the notion that false liberals like yourself want us to go into Sudan, something I would also like to do, and yet you opposse us toppling the brutal Hussein regime. You can't have it both ways.
Croscros72... oh, I'm an idiot, am I? Well, considering that you can't explain yourself, nor can you explain your position, I'll take that as a compliment, coming from an indolent thinker as yourself.
Fuck you, by the way, in case you didn't get the message.

Who gives a fuck how he got power. Jesus Christ himself could have installed him as dictator, but it still doesn't change the fact the So-dam In-sane was a fucking bastard who killed and tortured way to many people. It wasn't the US or UK's fault that this ass became such a prick.
seanryan00 3 years ago 2
These idiots just want any excuse to support the continued reign of, what did you call him, "So-dam In-sane" (like it!). They think that "we put him in power" somehow exempts us of the responsibility to remove him. I've never understood that; it's like refusing to pay to replace an item that you broke precisely because you're the one who broke it! It's completely back to front! I'm glad to see there are people here who hate Hussein as much as me though.
ThePissedOffAtheist 3 years ago 3

EasyEs 3 years ago 3
You're calling me ignorant whn you type Muslims in brackets. Why do you need to point out they are Muslims.
Who gives a shit about the Armenians, that was back in the Ottoman empire days.
Lets stick to the point and not trail away.
The war in Iraq is a complete failure, your troops die for bush and his gang to get oil and get rich.
If you go to war with Iran you will the shit kicked out of you
samd891 3 years ago
I don't see how that is Ignorant. The Armenian genocide was 28 years before the dropping of the atomic bomb. Also didn't Hitler say something about no one caring about the Armenians? You consider a functioning democracy with representative government in place of a genocidal dictator a failure. American has won the war in Iraq despite the best efforts of Islamic fascists to stop them. We don't need to fight Iran, Israel could take care of them for us.
EasyEs 3 years ago
Saddam was a genocidal figure that YOU put in place.
No one can tell Iraqis how to live, 90% of them want you out and the only safe place in Iraq is the green zone (10% of iraq). Iraq was better of with Saddam then when USA invaded. So if you see this as a "win" you are well and truly stupid.
Iran is backed by China and Russia this why USA are hesitating to go to war. You can barely handle insurgents let alone an organised millitary. Vietnam all over again. Beleive me. Tech dont mean shit
samd891 3 years ago
The war in Iraq is a resounding success. Al queda is devastated, destroyed and discredited. Local governments are expressing their autonomy without being beaten down by Bathist oppression. Saddam Hussein is dead and the Kurdish people are no longer under threat of extermination by lethal gassing. Yes, many lives have been lost - but this in no way makes the entire enterprise a "complete failure."
Stop drinking your liberal Kool Aid and tear your eyes away from the New York Times for a minute.
meiitbe 3 years ago 2
If the war in Iraq is a "success" then why do 90% of the Iraqi population want you out?
Wasn't it the Americans that put Saddam into power in the first place?
I dont drink Kool Aid and I dont read New Yourk Times because im not American.
samd891 3 years ago
America put Saddam Hussein in power, so that means they have no responsibility to remove him? I can't pay for the replacement of your window because I'm the one who broke it! You do realize that is completely back to front don't you?
ThePissedOffAtheist 3 years ago
You need to ask yourself why America put him in power in the first place
Sadam wasnt really a bad guy, he just listened to America. They were the ones that told him to kill the kurds.
samd891 3 years ago
"Sadam wasnt really a bad guy, he just listened to America."
and the rapist, torturer and murderer of your sister wasn't really a bad guy either, he just listened to his big brother whispering him it was OK.
"They were the ones that told him to kill the kurds.'
is that so, I am not so sure, tell us more.
Oceanica22 3 years ago 3
Reagan gave Saddam poison gas to kill Iranians and Saddam did what Reagan wanted but he just gassed some Kurds on the side.
Poison gas is illegal under International Law and USA making it is illegal. But USA is above the law or specifically Republican presidents are above the law.Under International Law its just as illegal to gas Iranians as it is to gas Kurds and the criminals include every1 who was involved which includes those who supplied Saddam with the gas with instructions to use it
samd891 3 years ago
"but he just gassed some Kurds on the side."
Oceanica22 3 years ago 3
When he gssed the kurds the maericans didnt care at the time they could have stopped him but no they wait a decade later
samd891 3 years ago
oh yh I said SPECIFICALLY not ESPECIALLY
samd891 3 years ago
Oh Yh It gets better they did not charge Saddam with any crimes while he was an american puppet in the eighties. they have indictments from 1974, and indictments from 1991, but none from when Cheney and Reumsfeld were feeding Iraq WMD! What a strange coincidence!
Happy now
samd891 3 years ago
France and Germany have sold lots of weapons to Saddam and have made deals with him haven't they.
Coincidence they opposed the invasion?

not as much as the US.

"not as much as the US." well I don't you or I know that to be true. that would be a guess mate.
"BTW I made more points dont just pick and choose which one to respond to "
I agree with those points mate
Oceanica22 3 years ago 2
Not as much as the US- I cant remeber where I saw the digits but the US were by far the main suppliers of the chemical weapons
well im glad you agree with the rest of the points but the fact remains that this war is illegal therefore the hanging of saddam was illegal and the soldiers fighting in Iraq are actually war criminals

When British and Americans sold weapons to Saddam Galloway was the only one that opposed him.
samd891 3 years ago
Try hundreds of thousands of people. Tortured to death. Buried alive. Pull your head out of your ass and realize it's worse to kill innocent people than to sell weapons. Obviously.

You just make up facts as you go don't you. Everyone sold weapons to the Iraqis the Russians the Chinese the French. The ol USA provided 2% of Iraqs arms. They supported Saddam mostly with Intelligence vs the Iranians. Gotta love those American Built t-72s and Mig-29s ehh..
EasyEs 3 years ago 2
Well the fact is America has killed more innocents than any other country on the planet.
Vietnam, Hiroshima, Nagasaki the list go's on.
Not only that you have the cheek to tell who can and can't have nuclear weapons. and no I dont make up facts as I go along, whatever I say has solid proof otherwise I wouldn't bother wasting my time.
samd891 3 years ago
i think you're statement is simply wrong do you have any evidence that "americca has killed more innocents than any other country on the planet"
ajmvice 3 years ago
You're a complete idiot.
Nuclear bombings in Japan. Ring a bell?
Hiroshima: death toll 200,000
(death toll is increasing because of radiation but there is a media blackout on it)
Nagasaki: death toll 80,000 (radiation thing applies here as well)
Vietnam: 1,000,000 (the death toll includes the innocents which the USA killed)
Al-Qaeda only 5000
Who are the real terrorists? USA
Its only you Yanks that think what ur doin is right. The rest of the world sees you as murderers.
samd891 3 years ago
i think those totals still do not put us near the total of the top of total lives killed than any other country. germany killed millions in one war. how am i an idiot by asking you to prove your claims with statisics? you're an idiot by apealing to sensationalism and histeria and no the whole world does not see us as murderers. In fact are loved by many african nations. on top of that, that arguement is an arguement appealing to the masses. try googleing logical fallacy
ajmvice 3 years ago
1. Okay I guess you're right the Germans did kill lots of filthy Jews so I'll drop America to No. 2
2. You talk about "sensationalism", correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that what your CNN and FOX news do?
3. I suppose you are right about the whole world seeing you as murderers but the rest of world does see you as some idiotic "world police"
4. If you are "loved" by Africa why don't you go sort out Zimbabwe? Is it because they have no oil.
bottom line: This war is illegal
samd891 3 years ago
The US congress voted for the war. UN resolutions 1441 and security council resolution 687 legitimise the attack and the International Criminal Court reported there was no evidence of any unprosecuted crimes against humanity. The USA also has a veto in the UNSC.

Kofi Annan was U.N secretary general. The matter is in the hands of the security council, which U.S and U.K have the power of veto over, and not the U.N.O as a whole. To my knowledge, this power was not used anyway.

I sincerely hope that Galloway is not actually a hero in the United Kingdom. I doubt this assertion on behalf of the obvious intelligence of the the people in the UK. Hitchens is obnoxious, and obviously the war in Iraq has been a mistake over time, but i want to see someone here disprove his logic, considering Galloway merely resorts to irrelevant ad hominem attacks towards Hitchens that, frankly, seem analogous to the Galloway fans here calling people names.
yjr001 3 years ago
That's absurd. Honestly, did you even hear the last 5 mins of Hitchen's remarks? It was purely attacks and guilt by association bullshit which Galloway did far better than swat down in Washington. I'm a huge fan of Hitch when it comes to religious topics, but he is dead wrong on Iraq. The issue isn't that we took down Saddam, the issue is the measure that we had to stoop to to do so. It sets the precedence for war with Iran and anyone else who the Bush administration feels needs regime change.
TavishHill 3 years ago
Hitchen's personal attacks towards Galloway are constructive to his argument though. Galloway did not swat down any accusations, instead he merely insulted the men at the hearing and subsequently told the press that there was a conspiracy against him. Truly a pathetic man.
yjr001 3 years ago 2

George is a hero in the UK HITCHENS IS A TWAT!

JACKtheRIPP3R189 3 years ago 3

lombard, I see you resort to petty name calling when people provide examples of incidents which disprove your laughable excuse that the US military does not kill civlians. So because Saddam tortures and kills, it's ok for the US to engage in Abu Ghraib type death and torture? Of course you'll probably resort to childish insults, which seems to be consistent with those who choose to either be willfully ignorant, or uninformed.
ranmaniac10 3 years ago
As the saying goes; the American system of government is the worst on earth.... if it weren't for all the other ones.
There are more than two parties, but the two main parties have all the money. Still, no one could claim that American government is not free or representative, claiming otherwise is paranoid false liberal claptrap.
lombard34 3 years ago 2
its not paranoid clap trap to be observant in ireland we have 5 or 6 big parties and a few small ones and they represnt less than 5 million
America the best democracy money can buy
antiminati 3 years ago
Yes, thats a cute slogan but, again, while the U.S. political system has problems and is certainly influenced by money, the idea that it is not free or a democracy, or a republic to be more specific, is ridiculous and paranoid. No one is stopping people from voting for a third party candidate or someone less orthodox like Ron Paul (not that I would have voted for him)
lombard34 3 years ago 2
its easy to fix all that has to be done is a limit put on funds and equal amount of media time its been done in other countries its pretty easy to see that who ever the media supports influences people more than the actual issues and by the way ireland had over half its population murdered or forced to leave due to imperalism it was a genocide unparalleled and we have never recieved anything not even an apology it seems to sum up your ignorance you have on matters even hitchens supports us ha
antiminati 3 years ago
Yes, I've heard Hitchens say he believes Northern Ireland should be united with the rest of the island. I think that's something that the Irish should sort out; my point, however, is that you can't kill civilians, for any reason, even if your side is right. I never claimed to be a supporter of British imperialism.
I wouldn't have a problem with equal time for both sides.
lombard34 3 years ago
by saying that your just proving to be a hypocrite because you say its fine for america to kill innocent people in the name of democracy but when the irish were doing it and being labelled by the world as terrorists they should get jail time thats all they were fighting for the right to self determination of a people over themselves and nation thats now what the insurgents are fighting for,if america WANTS a democratic iraq leave and let the people work it out they took out the supposed threat
antiminati 3 years ago
America isn't killing innocent people. You're uninformed.
If America leaves Iraq there will be a civil war and the situation will be worse.
lombard34 3 years ago
Now thats just absurd every heard of Fallujah theyve killed so many innocent people there even the soliders have come out and said that they had orders to kill everybody just look up Iraq civilian deaths see the figures if america leaves it would not make things worse how can they get worse vast majority of iraq wants you out by staying they are cancelling out the democratic purpose which they are meant to serve
antiminati 3 years ago
Get the fuck out of here. People get killed accidentally in war. If you point to isolated incidents where soldiers may have intentionally killed civilians then you're even more of a low life than I thought, trying to grasp at any straw to make America look bad, in the service of your Jihadist masters.
Why dont you out of the west you little prick.
lombard34 3 years ago 2
jesus you really are ignorant my god i can name countless ocassions in the past fifty years where america or its agencies have purposely killed innocent people from the contras to vietnam to helping in operation gladio in europe(cia)where they bombed buses and schools in italy they even killed a minister look it up it seems killing innocent people is the precedent rather than the isolated incident you percieve it to be in these so called wars
antiminati 3 years ago
No one has claimed that the U.S. has not done these things, but they are isolated incidents and the notion that one would compare the U.S. to the Jihadists is simple garbage. You're jealous and angry at the United States, and this is your outlet; side with terrorism. Which is why you're a disgusting person. If the west were so bad you would be in prison for sedition.
lombard34 3 years ago 2
jealous of america thats funny say good bye to your economy because of this war, enjoy borrowing billions from china and using the money to fund places like abu grab prision
Peace
antiminati 3 years ago
The U.S. in a bad year has a better economy than Ireland will ever have.
That doesnt bother you; it only bothers you when those rich Yanks do it, because you're a Socialist scum bag.
lombard34 3 years ago 2
Hitchens won the debate. Galloway is a terrorist sympathizer and if the west were nearly as oppressive as he and his ilk says it is he would be in prison for sedition. What would happen to an American sympathizer living among terrorists? They would be beheaded. In the west, if you sympathize with the enemy, not only will nothing happen to you but you can get elected to government office and can sell books, too.
To borrow from Hitchens; if Galloway were given an enima...
lombard34 3 years ago 7

Fuck you and everyone like you.
lombard34 3 years ago 3
i think i touched a nerve the simple fact is that the west is a piece of shit capatilistic waste basket of distorted minds and socities like america and britian i mean honestly to even try and justify the killing of 650000 innocent people for oil and thats what it was all about bud shows a seriously warped mind have you ever thought about men women and children being blown to pieces all for oil.my country had to fight for its freedoms for 800 years against mind sets like yours so i will enjoy em

So go f-ck yourself.
lombard34 3 years ago 4
funny you see western freedoms are not being destroyed by the cia trained and sponsored bin ladens of the world but by the western governments who are feveriously passing laws that destroy our most basic human rights such as free speech, the right of a people to self determination, torture etc and honestly think that america and the coalition forces are trying to help the iraqs just look up SAS Agents captured dressed as arabs instigating violence
antiminati 3 years ago
Yeah, and yet you can comment on youtube and say any disgraceful thing you want about the U.S. and the west. In the west you can criticize your own government, if you were in the Mid East and tried to criticize the very terrorist scum that you're supporting they would behead you or blow up your car.
The terrorists are the greatest killers, torturers, repressors, theocrats aggressors and abusers of human rights on this planet; not the U.S.
lombard34 3 years ago 3
What the fuck you have to understand i come from a country that for 800 years was under british imperalist rule and for us the only way to resist this explotation of our lands was terrorism and for fuck sake america has killed more innocent people than any middle eastern terrorist organisation and the most repressive regimes in the middle east are supported by the west like saudi arabia and pakistan come on take a look at the broader picture theres millions dieing in africa + nothings done why?
antiminati 3 years ago
Irish terrorists are as bad as Arab terrorists. They both belong in prison and then in hell. No cause justifies killing civilians. Those Irish pretend to be Catholics but they must have missed what St. Augustine said about just war if they think terrorism is justified.
The Jihadists are the greatest purveyors of aggression, torture, violence and repression in this world; not the United States.
lombard34 3 years ago 2
I believe we should go into the Sudan and stop the genocide; though, if we did, some Socialist piece of garbage like yourself would call us bullies and imperialists. Nothing the United States does will satisfy those people, because the United States represents true freedom and democracy; something socialists thugs and terrorist sympathizers hate. They prefer redistribution and theocracy to Enlightenment principals.
lombard34 3 years ago 2
The only reason they wont go into sudan is because theres no money to be made and to think that America repersents true freedom and democracy your disillusioned do you honestly believe that?come on man thats just ridiculous you are trying to say you live in a free country but even look at your political system you think thats democracy how can a two party system represent the whole population and is it true that some people votes count more than others depending on region
