  • I want heart shaped sunglasses now.

  • i like 1997 version better

  • This movie is soooooo much better than the 1997 version

  • @RedPerdita i agree! lolita is prettier in this version too

  • This movie disturbed me so much and its one of the worst Stanley Kubrick movies.

  • such a classic with such a...weird (?!) trailer

  • I'm just 13 and I really like classic movies like this one.

  • If only Stanley Kubrick got the freedom to do what he wanted to do with this film, how much better it would have been, oh well still a Kubrick classic.

  • This trailer made me think like Lolita is 1960's child porn haha

  • @hoholilimama try reading the book. for me it was to disgusting to finish.

  • @Jantv81 I think it's a masterpiece! :D

  • Humbert: "Lo, you have something in your eye." *LICK*

  • I hated this movie. It ruined the book for me.

  • I liked... "Lolita" is very good movie.

  • fucking Stanley!

  • This film does differ slightly from the book, in which I mean, any sexual content is presented purely through innuendo.

This was due to the heavy censorship demands of the early 60s.

However, the screenplay was written by Vladimir Nabokov himself. Which is why I found the script of this film to be so good.

The writing is truly impeccable and there is always something clever about films that don't directly show you things, but instead refer to them through witty innuendos.

  • I wonder how they ever made a movie of Lolita?

  • Sue Lyon was only 14 when the film "Lolita" was made.

  • @patrickdcyau she was 16

  • @afin85 nope, 14.

  • I heard that Kubrick's version is not related to the book (The book is very good), is that true?

  • @sharkpicho it is related 2 the book but so much of the pedo love story has been cut out lol XD

  • That toe shot was the shizzle.

  • La la, la la la la, la la..

    Oh god.

  • I love how it tells you nothing about the movie, LOL.

  • @MissRandomIsRandom If you're watching Lolita, then you already know what it's about.

  • @icarus212001 Uh...yes, obviously, that would be the case!

I love trailers that advertise films while telling you nothing about them. I find such things rather amusing.

  • @MissRandomIsRandom it tells you how beautiful Lolita was **

  • @MissRandomIsRandom Well, that's how lots of Kubrick trailers were. They just made you wanna watch it; they didn't give away anything about it.

  • @MissRandomIsRandom Yeah that is what I find myself liking about this trailer. Whenever I hear about a good movie I want to see I make sure not to watch the trailer because they are more than a minute long and give out too much.

  • @MissRandomIsRandom But the ones that reveal too much suck too. The trailer for A Clockwork Orange didn't say much about its synopsis either.

  • @XxRebornNationxX I never said that trailers that tell you nothing suck--I quite like them. Like the trailer for A Clockwork Orange...I love the trailer almost as much as I do the film! Although, yes, I do agree with you on the ones that reveal too much.

  • Stanley Kubrick's "Quilty!"

  • LALALALALA LALALolitaLALA LAAALA this is a case to say LOL

  • Do you know what the song is?

  • Comment removed

  • @Autumntrampoline1 ...Wow, all I could think about while watching the trailer is how irritatingly repetitive that song was.

  • @Hypermammal i don't know what you're hearing, this song is fucking cool

  • @Autumntrampoline1 Lolita,Ya Ya by Sue Lyon the lolita herself C:
