Above all else when I'm hearing live or cover versions of a song, it is an ESSENTIAL that the song be reproduced NOTE FOR NOTE. More than I hate poverty, corruption, or evil itself, I hate it when the cover artist or original artist edits, abridges, or just flat out cuts out certain transitions or note patterns.

Why do you change them? They're the reason people listen to the song in the first place!
