Started in Reason ..... went to Logic Pro .... now I'm back to Record.....I agree with PastorJayJay 100%.... folks are critical of Record for not having VST's ...... if you know what your doing.... you can sculpt the sound you want...effects and all!!!

Why doesn't Record pic up my mic?! It recognizes my Axiom 49, but not my AKG mic!? can anybody help me? im using Vista 64 Ultimate

im sorry fam. i have no idea. to tell you the truth. after messing with it for a few days i end up not like the program at all. so i unistall it off my computer. dont get me wrong its a good program but i like logic better. . . oh and im sorry to hear that your using vista. lol! mac's are the shit!!!!! ha ha ha. peace bra.

@ao93257 under preference make sure your audio interface is displayed if not just click on your interface. then make a new audio track. you should be good

@pavanplays VST are useless to be honest. With Reas and Record you can basically create your own VST's. Effects are nice as well. To be honest VST support is not important. Ive used reason for long, and i even found a way to record vocals in Reason. Its all down to your experience. I can create a better sounding synth pad in reason, than what vanguard will offer me. Flexibility in these two progs.

@pavanplays hey, its too long to explain here but i will try and get a tut vid up. But it includes using a vocoder, but not recording with effects but getting the raw input from your source. Its fun once you get the hang of it. Will post it when i do it. Take care

After i had read all the forums in Propellerhead.The problems they where having,some people couldnt load their protools after fucking with Record.I rather wait after the beta test and fuck with the real thing.I cant wait to fuck with the time streach.
