Remember when I bought this without listening- "ooh good, another gatefold 4 track single from J Foxx" after the "Endlessly" single. Got home, played it, and boy was I confused. I could not believe it was John Foxx, it was so different from his usual style. I genuinely thought the record company had made a pressing mistake or something...
@Synthsound1 When did u listen to the album the last time before? I don't find it as bad anymore now. It's not exciting or great but it's okay when ur more in a quiet mood and once u've accepted the different singing style and the bog standard sound of the production. ;) lol
@polterter Quite a long while back since i listend to the album, like you say sometimes when you relisten to some stuff it sounds better than you remember.yeah lol i know what you mean about the bog standard production,it was trying to fit in as a more pop album, and still didnt do very well, even though it was far better than a lot of more popular artists work around that time.

Although I'm still not sure whether this album is any good or not, I listened to it so much at the time, it's got a place in my heart :)

A couple of other artists like Gary Numan, Ultravox and Midge Ure recorded this kind of Americanised pop rock around the same time.
I'm so glad that John Foxx has redeemed himself. 'Crash And Burn' and 'Metatronic' CDs are great!!!

Haven't heard this in years! I've got the single buried away somewhere... thanks for putting this on - it brings back lots of nice memories.
