I saw these guys in Asbury park in 93' on the "Tricks of the shade" tour. I handed the DJ a copy of a break beat album a friend and I produced. Our album had a sample on it of a man saying "wake up". In 94' "no goats, no glory" was released. I was amazed to hear this song with the DJ scratching our record during the intro. We threatened to take legal action, but it was really a ploy to meet with Ruffhouse Records and push our music on them. They took us out for Italian food and never signed us.

This reminds me of going to my friends' appartment on the North Side of Chi-Town (Rogers Park neighborhood) back in the 1990's, and getting fuuuuuucked up on the weed they grew in the livingroom closet, which also contained several shelves of glass pieces - bongs, bubblers, and pipes! Man, those were some good memories....well...the bits n' pieces I can actually remember! LOL

This is the 12-inch version of Wake N Bake.
The album version was similar but with some added noises, etc. Not quite as good as this version in my opinion!
