  • 8 bit music is badass

  • sounds better then the real NES version on sonic the hedgehog blast 5

  • GXSCC makes the person who did this have no skill. GXSCC converts songs by itself. NOT THE PLAYER...

  • Awesome, love this! :3

  • Liked and added to favorites :)

  • niiiiiiice :)

  • this bassline >_> it's toooooo sexy >_>

  • @LourDeo15 agreed.....:)

  • 8-bit dubstep?

  • if spring yard zone were on the master system ver. this is what it'd sound like

  • I prefer the 16 bit version

  • gxscc isnt 8bit

  • use famitracker next time. GXSCC isnt true 8bit

  • I like it, but some part of me wants to say, but i wont let it, pathetic, but its not

  • AAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEESSSSOOOOMMMMMEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The best part is 00:19- 00:40.

  • ITS MASTER SYSTEM YOU LITTLE TWAT

  • MAKES ME THINK OF SONIC COLORS LMAO

  • so true

  • GXSCC IS NOT REAL 8-BIT!

  • @TFLegendReborn THIS IS NES WITH FEVER!

  • ITS MASTER SYSTEM YOU LITTLE TWAT

  • "It's master system you TWAT!"

Thumbs up if you understand the joke.

  • Awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wierd but good wierd

  • its trance

  • At least the author of this track made the MIDI on his own, and to me it sounds like it can be almost perfectly remade with a real NES sound tracker like FamiTracker.

  • The comments above and below me will be about GXSCC.

  • GXSCC is absolutely NOT 8-BIT!!!!!

  • I would friggen give you a hug for such epicness

  • GXSCC = NOT 8BIT

CORRECTION: Spring Yard Zone Music GXSCC

  • You win the internet for this remix.

  • They actually made Sonic 1 on the NES. This was the first zone. (It's weird i know but it had all of the original zones from the Genesis) This is different from that version and I really like it. Awsome job man!

  • Next step: Sonic the Hedgehog for NES :D (not stupid Sonic 5 etc)

  • Amazing work. I hope you keep making these :D Thank you so much for making and sharing it.

  • damn, how long did it take to make your version? Dude this awesome

  • Normal sonic is 16 bit this is half of that so Meh

  • Do a 8-bit "Marble Zone".

  • It's funny how people remake the sonic 1 music into 8 bit when there is an official 8 bit version of the game released for game gear and SMS.

  • @Hotrodx199 Yeah, but the SMS version didn't have Marble, Spring Yard, or Star Light, and the music for Scrap Brain and Labrynth was different.

  • @SergeantLuke

    For scrap brain, not entirely.

  • wouldn't it already be 8 bit

  • @lucidies genesis was 16bit buddy the nintendo was 8 bit which is why it sounds so different

  • 8 bits lower song......OMG.if sonic 1 wa son NES it would suck.like Somari (its pirated and on NES)

  • not all of the NES games however use only 4 channels. if you get a chance, listen to the Lagrange Point soundtrack.

  • This wins.

  • i know im gonna get a thumbs down for this but what exactly does 8-bit mean?? does it mean that it only took 8 bytes to make this tune?? some please tell me, epic edit btw :]

  • @hulffle 8-bit's one of the earliest revolutions of video games, computers, and digital entertainment.

  • @hulffle

8-bit only has four sound channels

  • I have been looking for this song for years but never remember the title. Yay!!

  • YOU WIN! 8D

  • XD I guess so!!

  • This sounds a bit more handlable by the NES than most. It's hard to tell, but it sounds like it meets the consoles actual capabilities.

  • this is 9-bit only really 8

  • epic!

  • Although musically its great the drums suck, and dont say it's cos it's 8bit, I've heard imense drums from the SID and AY chips. Man up!

  • Why am I liking this more then the original?

    Just plain awesome!

  • sega genisis is not the first 16-bit system. the intellivison was the frist 16 bit system.

  • You should be awarded with the nobel price of peace for that, IT'S SO FUCKING INCREDIBLE =D

  • thanks man =D

  • @popiBROS1 Could you make your channel visible?I want to see your latest videos

  • @popiBROS1 u made this?!?! its so awsome =D we need more 8 bit music

  • @GeneralShitt if pumping midis through a program deserves a nobel prize then im the lord of the universe and i say: TAKE THIS SHIT DOWN

  • The NES was not the only 8-bit system. There was the master system. SO MASTER SYSTEM STYLE!!!!!

  • dont forget the game gear!

  • The game gear was 8 bit?! damn. I thought it was 16 bit because it looked so good for its time. I was playing sonic triple trouble and the graphics were so detailed compared to a regular gameboy color.

  • nope it was 8 bit

  • That's awesome.

  • Also the Atari 7800

  • In terms of hardware, the game gear was essentially a master system with a larger colour palette and lower resolution.

  • no the game gear is 8 bit but the genesis is 16 i believe

  • yeah, genesis is 16, but it had the 32X addon to make it 32 bit and I have no fXXXing clue how that worked...

  • 32X had a different processor. In fact, it really could have been it's own system *cough*neptune*cough*

  • so, pretty much, the 32X used it's own processor for the graphics, sound, etc.?

then how did that go to the output? the 32X was plugged into the cartridge slot right? it would have gone through the regular processor too right?

  • Well, it did, but that was just used tp process the signal to plug into your TV, not to actually process anything involoving the game

  • ah, got it

  • mastersystem ?

  • idk never owned a sega but i just know the time era it came from so i kinda know somewhat of what it was.

  • @stonercrazyclips222 the sega master system is also 8 bit.

  • @stonercrazyclips222 your forgetting about the master system, aren't you?

  • @supergenoseth No because I wasn't responding to someone about ALL the 8 bit systems just refering to the difference to Game Gear and Genesis..

  • @stonercrazyclips222 oh well, i didnt bother to look at the origional comment

  • Yay NES 8-bit ^_^

  • this reminds me of game boy games music...... really nice 5/5

  • I hate Johnny test. It sucks so bad. And how do these two compare anyway? Anyway songs awesome!

  • This song sounds Cool in a GameBoy style theme

  • you mean nes style

  • well I guess that too

  • sounds like a famili

  • Nice and creative!

    X

  • lol

i think of unfair platformer when i hear this

    awesome theme

  • Ahhh the nostalgic feeling of this song even in 8-bit

  • ♪ Johnny Testicle ♪ lol :P

  • lol

  • what's a jonny test?

  • or JOHNNY test

  • google is your friend!

  • ...I always use google...

  • ....

  • Hahahaha

    This was funny.

  • this sounds like mario is on here or on this level omg

  • comedy!!! i likes it tho...very nice

  • cool

  • what's GXSCC

  • One word.

    BASS!

  • Oh and the custom part was disabling a high-pitched instrument's channel right?

  • yep

  • BTW this is Jarel Jones' version of this song in MIDI. I'm listening to it live in gxscc right now.

  • you sure know your midis lol

  • lol thanks

  • Hate to ruin the praise parade here, but if you download gxscc, all you have to do is drag and drop a midi into it and hit play...

  • NEEDS MORE HONORS!!

  • Whoa! Amazing job!

  • How do you save with GXSCC?

  • Yeah, it doesn't at all look like Somari / Sonic Famicom

  • Sounds awesome. Love how the VSTs sound in the chourus.

  • definately not vst

  • wow! dude thats awesome!!

  • thanks!

  • OMG BEST EVER

  • U should get honours for this!

  • Great! Reminds me of my old phone's monophonic Sonic ringtone of the spring yard zone. Sounds a lot like this!

  • Hurray for chiptunes! It's so weird to hear this. Did you base it on the version the Sonic Famicom hack uses?

  • Nope Totally Custom =D
