I am just going to point out that Keane was playing on the adjacent stage before Pavement and got through their set without getting any beers in the face, despite that asshole singer waving the mic stand in the air getting everyone to sing along to that one horrible single they had riding on the coat tails of Coldplay a few years back.

Of all the bands playing at Osheaga, many of which most of the audience weren't familiar with, why did it have to be Malkmus...

I hadn't heard of Pavement before but I am a fan now because of the reaction the band had to the beer shot. Hopefully security beat the shit out of him. Not that Pavement will book any more in Quebec but we have a saying in hockey..always keep your head up..

@discusthrow69 You're an asshole. I'm not a big Pavement fan either, but I was there and they put on a pretty decent show. Just because you don't like Pavement doesn't mean they don't deserve the spot on the schedule they got, or that Malkmus deserved a beer to the face. There was tons of people there for them.. This is a festival. You could find a person who likes just about anything there, it's about diversity.
