If the font rendering is different, then one can simply modify the text in the "Personalize" menu at the Desktop. The default can be changed with a few simple steps, so Vista and Leopard are rather close in efficiency and customization.
Safari successfully exploited in seconds, MacBook completely taken over in security Pwn2Own contest
Macworld - 2 hours ago
For the second year running, security researcher Charlie Miller has taken home the top prize at security conference CanSecWest in Vancouver, after successfully hacking a MacBook via Safari.
And this is all anyone ever needs to know when comparing two different operating systems: sub pixel font rendering and the thickness of the instruction manual. lmao
$120 dollars for each service pack? Dude, do some research. Hell, even a Mac can run XP as an OS.
I do agree that this guy went overboard. After SP1 came out, the issues with drivers now are lower. But I still won't install it due to it's DRM like control center waste you install without an option to get rid of it.
Oh, and by the way. Assuming that people are fanboys only shows otherwise. Just the same with how some people don't just buy a computer for games or graphics.
Running Windows on a Mac? Intel Processors ftw. Comparing a Closed OS/Hardware experience to something that isn't, really doesn't work well in the long run. Hence the fact that it's been done over and over with the same results in the end.
Leopard is out, but Tiger still get's security updates. As in, you can hold out on the next version and go for the one after it.
Plus every newer OS Apple makes comes with Brand Newer features. Windows get's security updates in Service Packs, but that's it.
This is a screencap of a video stream from Ustream, so that explains the camera lag. Also it was a joke. Chris was doing a fundraiser and someone paid him to do it.
Is this guy mental? I know he has got a point about leopard but really, who gives a crap if leopard tastes better? Plus Enough shouting and camera lag. You don't want to water your computer tard, if you do that you waste alot of money on computers. Next time don't get crazy when the little camera light goes on.
This guy use to be nice on Call For Help, now that I find out how he really is. How does someone like him get a job like that. The car is driving but there's no one behind the wheel.
