You are not the only one who notices, rainbow road,toad circuit, and other worlds are remixes of other songs of the other mks. To me that was strange but I proved it myself. Thanks for the song.

I literally died of nostalgia when I first heard this. In the car on the way back from when I bought it. Completed my first race, heard this, oh god. The feeling was undescribable. It so good to know that Nintendo never forgets what the old gamers were really all about :)

After beating my first mario kart 7 race I was like "Oh my god, I remember this!"

On my first race on Koopa City (Neo Bowser city) I heard the toad's turnpike theme and was like "More sweet memories"

When I got to Bowser's Castle (heard double dash theme) I was like "Fuck Yeah!"

Before starting Rainbow Road I said "Now all we need is n64/gcn rainbow road music to finish off the trip down memory lane, but I doubt it"

And I was like "No...it can't be...OMG it is!!!" And cried with joy.

@Hayeshacker0NE Probably because the music was composed by Kenta Nagata, the same guy who did all the music for Mario Kart 64. He also worked on Double Dash's music with another guy, which probably explains the Double Dash Bowser's Castle throwback as well.
