I totally loved the hairstyle Diana is rockin' in this episode. Jane as "Diana" was & will forever be the baddest sci-fi chick in the game to date! Even 30 yrs later, I still haven't seen a female in any sci-fi show since V-that can bring the sex appeal Diana had. Everything about Diana was naturally SEXY w/o even trying!!!!

Robin SEEMS like a pain in the ass in that she keeps taking things less seriously than she should & simultaneously gets her family and the resistance into trouble, but she IS meant to be a typical California teenager of the 80s so it makes sense, & she is a very integral element to the plot on a number of levels. She unwittingly triggers several key events in the first series, and gets very important revenge in the second series (testing out the Red Dust on Bryan - also important to the plot).

Btw, when was the last time science wasn't nonsense in some tv show made for tv? Especially those with supernatural themes. As a matter of fact most movies also are full of nonsensical science and even impossible stunts that seem to forget about Isaac Newton's laws.

@McLarenMercedes I know plenty of teen age girls who are not like Robin in fact the other girls in their school think they are weird but those very girls think that movies and tv have brainwashed there peers to the extent that those who want to be considered normal follow the Robin example rather then the Polly one. It all depends on how they were brought up to think I find; I have made inquires about family life most of the none Robins are brought up by parents who taught them to think.
