Jamon, Proscuitto, Speck, Coppa, Guanciale, Bacon, Pancetta, Salt Pork, Lardo, Back Bacon (a.k.a Canadian Bacon), Lonza, Country Ham, Samgyeopsal (Korean Bacon), & Tasso. GOT TO GET THAT!!!
@aglanceatmyworld My sense is that homemade bacon is going to be more expensive than industrially produced bacon, but it really has to do with your meat costs, and where you source your product from. If you use a heritage meat, you'll surely be paying more, but will get a better product.
I so love that you started this channel -it kinda reminds me of Alton Browns Good Eats. I love to learn about food and this truly satisfies that yearn! Won't be curing any bacon anytime soon but love the knowledge! I'm one of those people that does like Turkey bacon so sorry that it is so horrible to the previous user.
@danieldelaney it can be rather tough, and the flavor is quite bland. i haven't had it in a few years tho, they may have changed the recipe. nothing can ever compare to the real thing =]
This guy is so fucking annoying. Is it just me?

Your home cured bacon looks amazing! How does the cost compare between store bought bacon and home cured?
