Yea I don't get all the fuss around BMW M3 series, can someone explain me what the fuss is about? I mean the M3 doesn't stand a chance against the CTS-V and now the Boss 302 whoops it..... and neither stands a chance against the Corvette series. What is all the fuss around the M3 about? It doesn't look good, it's bloody expensive, the performance is barely impressive. Why do you people like such a car? Does it even provide thrills? I'd choose a base Mustang over M3!
I am the only one that doesn't see the 1 series in the new 3 series? On the 1 series, the headlights get taller both on top and bottom as you go away from the center of the car. Kinda like > <. But from what I can tell on the new 3 series, the headlights get taller only on the top, as in the bottom of the headlights is flat and parallel to the ground. Also, it's hard to tell with all that camo. I'm keeping my hopes up for it to not look girly like the 1 series.

It has more weight true, but it has a more powerful engine to compensate, plus, its v8 is lighter than the old M3's 6 cylinder engine. The M5 series is gorgeous, probably the best looking sedan now. No matter how good the suspension and electronic gadgets, you can't fight physics. In the corners they feel far more "sloppy" compared to older versions. Power is not everything. I rather have less motor and a lighter weight with tight chassis and suspension for the turns.

Why would they cut out comedy out of a car show? This is the same reason most car shows lack viewers and usually get cancelled. There's a reason Top Gear is the #1 most viewed show in the UK and one of the most viewed shows around the world. Its cause it has comedy while reviewing cars and isn't being a dull car show while giving boring reviews like those other dumb car shows, unlike FLD as well. Good job FLD crew and Derek! Keep it up.

Did you totally miss the delivery of the first production Fisker Karma? For a show that seems to love the Fisk (Ol' Henrik), you definitely missed the boat here. The specs of the Fisker prove, once and for all, the electric cars might actually be able to take off in the US. Not only that, but it's the first truly amazing looking electric cars (sorry, Tesla, but leave the Elise to Lotus). This is truly a milestone because this might herald a new age in American manufacturing. Step it up, FLD.

Totally agree with Derek on the 3er. The new 1 looks like it got hit in the head with a hammer a few times and so far the F30 3 Series is looking about the same. The "same sausage, different lengths" thing is really starting to ring true. As a huge BMW guy and an E90 3er driver, I'm really starting to get disappointed with these spyshots. The body looks fantastic, but these new front ends are terrible. Maybe my E90 will become more valuable now... :D

Did you totally miss the delivery of the first production Fisker Karma? For a show that seems to love the Fisk (Ol' Henrik), you definitely missed the boat here. The specs of the Fisker prove, once and for all, the electric cars might actually be able to take off in the US. Not only that, but it's the first truly amazing looking electric cars (sorry, Tesla, but leave the Elise to Lotus). This is truly a milestone because this might herald a new age in American manufacturing. Step it up, FLD.

Why is fiat only bringing small models to the US? We already have the SMART (which we hate), the honda CR-Z - which is useless, the Mini Cooper (personally I don't like the style), and the Honda Fit - which is a chick car. I think Americans made the point that we don't want any more small cars and when faced with a 20 grand Fiat that gets ~40mpg or any hyundai (for the sake of this comment), then I think most people will choose the Hyundai. Plus, a fiat vs semi...

Of the top of my head the schick loft living style obsessed metro-sexual average New Yorker (not you Queens & Bronx) would pay decent amount. For a car that's stylish, classy and work well in urban enviroment of it is NYC

One. Wasn't yesterday suppose to be DD last show and we were gonna get a hot girl instead, man what a let down.
Two. Even if here in the USA, we don't get the special edition of the FIAT 500 Abarth, does it really matter?.. This is America, we'll take the regular version of the 500 and tune it at home with Turbos and NOS, it will probably explode but, Mr. Abarth meet my little friend.

Totally agree with Derek on the 3er. The new 1 looks like it got hit in the head with a hammer a few times and so far the F30 3 Series is looking about the same. The "same sausage, different lengths" thing is really starting to ring true. As a huge BMW guy and an E90 3er driver, I'm really starting to get disappointed with these spyshots. The body looks fantastic, but these new front ends are terrible. Maybe my E90 will become more valuable now... :D
And yes, it IS spelled "Bimmer". Thanks DD.
