lol u made the trick with the jewel sword/beryl circlet room way more complicated than it needs to be... all u need to do is walk from side to side in that rock tunnel... once as human, once as bat, once as wolf (not surprised tho, i once had a friend claim it took 20 times each way haha)

the first castle is amazing, great game, great history... an then the SAME castle but... upside down.... thats weak, thats like...

chief :"hey we got to make more levels!" developers: "NAH!, we can rotate the castle and change some textures, no one will notice!"

i would have loved actual new levels after the first castle.

@131202016 Yes, this is very common or very rare, easiest way to do this is go to the room where the roses where you get turned to stone are and run into them, it is Alucard's true form which unfortunately not a castable spell, but it will be in the 2012 remake of SOTN

Just head back to Dracula's room in the inverted castle and you can warp back to the normal castle. That, or use a library card.

How can you get the areas on the water cavern on the northeast? I try to "explore" those parts and they don't appear marked on my map. I have tried lots of things.

It's quite simple actually, jump up into the water, transform into the wolf, then swim against the ceiling, the extra bits of the map will fill out

You may have to jump while holding the swim button

those Medusa Heads are a pain in the ass!!

@Headsetjones Easiest way to deal with that problem is either use a resist stone before entering those rooms or wear the mirror curiass (found in the first castle). They both make the Medusa Heads less of an annoyance... though they are still obnoxious.

The mirror curiass is in the outer wall. go down to where the grate is that you have to mist though. You can get it earlier by going into the room below it, breaking open the wall and standing in the space for 30 seconds (hidden elevator FTW).

Also the bat/wolf rooms, you only need to go from left to right as the wolf once and then right to left as the bat once to open it

THat is the Crissaegrim, you get it as a drop from a Schmoo in the inverted Library. best sword in the game, and the Shield Rod is in the Colosseum at the very bottom

u need the spike breaker armour if ma memory serevs me corectly its in the catacomb type place under castle but u need the silver and gold rings go to clock tower with them equiped then ull get a passage opened u get some glasses then u go fight richter with em on and ull c an orb kill tht and not richter and u go to inverted castle :)

all I can answer is that you get a duplicator from the librarian that sells you items. You have to play on a saved game that is "Clear" meaning that you beat Dracula. He sells it for 500,000 gold coins.

First, you must go to the inverted castle. From there, go to the Forbidden Library. There you will encounter some enemies called Schomoo. Those things sometimes drop Ramen and they rarely drop the most powerful sword in the game, the Crissaedrim.

u need the alucart set or the alucard well the one that gives u luck and some luck potion and start killin!

while Crissagrim has a higher ATT Value...it's DPS is lower than the Yasutsuna plus the Yasutsuna can guard from rear attacks. I like the Crissagrim...but Yasutsuna is better overall IMO.

and then there is the throw sword which works great with the crissagrim u do the same with the luck but u the mob its the one in the upside down map in the secret room of the mendusas are u know the ones that turns u to stone and there is a room that leads u down to a place where there is a flyin mob that throws u a red sword well that one and those are the most rared sword..well the best ones!
