Roots is the pleural of root which is a slang word for sexual intercourse. Guys say it to sound like studs; girls say it to sound sexually liberal. Recently going through spring madness, I have had to wash my ears because so many people are rooting for blah and blah and blah. Oh root is also used when you are f***ed, eg.
