@reg2001 I'm hoping to begin recording this year. I'm embarrassed to confess I have limited knowledge of how to do this. I've always paid more attention to playing than the technical aspects such as recording. Would you happen to have any advice on where to start? Books, tutorials etc. etc.?
ha this is very cool...first its like a cocteau twins song and then u suddenly at 206 put this bassw ith it wich sounds like pink floyd ...exelent,,,,
shurely love this one corey, you're a great musician. Closing my eyes, my brain let's me see Wes Borland, hope that's not a defamation for you. Keep it up pal, you're great. It's a pitty that you'r school is far away from Germany
Ah, lovely stuff, I can't help but feel that the first guitar would sound a little bit better if it was single-coils for the extra sparkle, but that's a hell of a good tone from that SG there. I really need to get a Toneport for recording, haha.
cool sound...perfect....thanks for all the useful information here.it influence my music very much .let me know which studio monitors do you use ? I use podfarm from line 6 and ux1 and i need some monitors.
by the way do you know dave fielding by the chameleons ?
@Aumgaze A lot of the stuff there was composed and recorded with a Korg Trinity which I no longer own. As for my guitar recordings I currently use the sounds from the Toneport - no VSTs. I am considering buying Amplitude, Guitar Rig or something along those lines.
wow mate... love the ambiance what a cool sound, really takes you away.. very tasteful melodies and playing.. if you ever want a drum track let me know! Cheers, Wayne.
Sony Acid Music and your Tone port would be a great start. Sony has great drum loops also.

Definitely pick up a copy of "Mixing Secrets for the Small Studio" by Mike Senior.

@MrDevinPurdy Cool, thank you. I've also heard that Mastering Audio by Robert A. Katz is a good book. It's a little on the expensive side though.

@Aumgaze I just checked out The Eden House. Reminds me of Fields of the Nephilim with female vocals. Thanks for pointing me in their direction!

@zykophonyguitar
Tony Pettitt from FON plays bass in The Eden House. Check also the other band of the guitarist Stephen Carey - Adoration.
I saw both bands live and I would love to see them again.

@danyalexsf Cool, I discovered this too after some research :D I'll check out Adoration. Thanks!
