  • a great video, but it would be even better if you talked us through it,still good but for a amateur like me ,well i need all the help i can get, thank you anyway,it wasa help to me.

  • @fitzerelli1 Hey - thanks very much I'm glad it helped you ... about the talking ... mmm, I'm a bit shy I guess!

  • what do you think about the microphone?

  • @dumapies For a cheap and cheerful way to record it's okay. I get a bit of background hiss but I've now learned how to reduce that in Reaper. No doubt a DAW and a better mic would see better results. BUt this works as a budget method of recording. Make sure you adjust the input volume levels on your PC.

  • How does the guitar play?v(FG332) I have the opportunity to buy one (which is how i came across your videos) It sounds really nice! Hows the action? That's pretty important and hard to judge anything but in person, so i guess asking you may be helpful?

Thanks a lot and nice playing!

  • @torbjorn66 I've had my Yamaha FG for over 25 years and it sounds sweeter than ever ... always been a joy to play ... I wouldn't sell it ... highly recommended

  • @beatlific many thanks for your kind words and appreciation ... I'm glad it has helped you ... hope enjoy playing it

    :-)

  • it;s great, man!!! i actually learned it by ear, but there were some details that your video explained to me! thanx!

  • @acdc915 learning by ear is the best way .. I'm glad this helped you too :-)

  • Every video is a greater pleasure to listen to. Your learning curve is impressive.

  • @nfleig very kind words, thanks a lot

  • Great job! I actually tried to train my ear getting arpeggio part in pre-verse before you showed it in upclose.

  • @vicont ear training is often overlooked, especially with so many video lessons, thanks for stopping by to watch and comment :-)

  • cool dude just learning that song now good verison

  • @rob69ie thanks - hope this has helped you learn it a little

  • awesome

  • @JustinGuitarStudent thanks - keep practicing and you'll be playing songs like this very soon :-)

  • Really nice job with this. I had actually never listened to this song before I saw your video, but after listening to the studio version I actually think it sounds with just an acoustic guitar than it does with the lead parts and all the other things they have going on in the original.

  • @zeitgeist1 Thank you for watching and commenting - especially on a song you didn't know before ... I agree, the original is very 'busy' and it works well stripped back down to basics
