Windows 7 vs vista Heaven benchmark dx 10... performance improvement. HD 5770

That's a huge bump up just from changing to Windows7! Thanks for the info. I've ordered a 5770 and now it looks like I'm going to have to get Win7 too.

i've done other benchmarks also. like Resident Evil 5 benchmark and it didnt have as good of improvement. gain of like 2fps.

Another thing good about 5770 is scaling in crossfire is much better then a 4890 why i went with 5770.

Is it possilble to get DX11 for vista ?

i know of the alky project. but that was dx10 on xp but as far as i know u need windows 7 for dx11.

I saw a review for a dx11 graphics card and the guy said DX11 will only be for windows 7 and vista. What I want to know is how to get DX11 for Vista.

well he either miss wrote or they could have another "Alky Project" out. but my thought...i had the alky project for xp so i could get dx10 and it didnt even work for games. thing is u need to have windows 7 to have dx11.

Mabey, but i am not sure.

A cheif that I know even said you can only have DX11 on vista and 7.
