  • Look, I havnt got cinema 4d, my friend has it. Im gettting models from him. I can import them but they have no texture, he has textred them but they dont come up in materials. pleas help

  • Ok so im making a game in unity and i have a model in blender. do i have to import the model then animate it in unity or do i animate it and then import it into unity? plz help

  • where u get the models ?

  • @HiddenStudiosHD I made them myself on 3DS Max 9.

  • man how to create the model and import please teach me bro

  • Thanks. I'm a bit confused over how prefabs are supposed to be implemented though. So far, each time I import a model, I have been creating a prefab and dropping the model in there. Are prefabs supposed to be a collection of individual models grouped together for conveniance. Also, when you import game model into Unity, are they automatically converted into prefabs?

  • will sketchup let you import?

  • @jdogame12 The Unity website says it accepts SketchUp Pro. If you're not using that, it wouldn't hurt to try?

  • @RollingTankProd I've tried with the normal SketchUp and it worked for me

  • My model from Blender won't show up. It says "Blender could not be found".

I put it in every folder I could think of and it still won't show up. I could use some help D=

  • @soronery1 Try dragging the file into the Project window on the Unity interface instead of into Explorer/Finder.

  • @RollingTankProd Tried it still doesnt work. The file name is in my project window tab but when I try to drag it anywhere on unity it shows a black circle with a slash in it. Im using windows 7 btw.

  • @soronery1 I had the same problem, make sure, your export it into an fbx file in blender 2.49

  • @soronery1 First, make sure you export it into an fbx file with blender 2.49! Then Right click, click on import new asset, then look where you exported your .fbx file, and import it.

  • @soronery1 did u export it

  • @soronery1 the problem could be that unity dosn't suport . blend files so you have to export them as .FBX

  • how do i get the sumo model

  • Great.

  • thank u man

  • Hey, great video series! I know you said you use 3D studio Max for modeling and you needed something for your Mac. Blender 3D is a great choice. It is cross platform and its also free and open source. Plus there is a great community behind the software, constantly putting out tutorials and updates. Check blender.org if interested. Also, are they any plans for more Unity tutorials?

  • As other vids, this one is also nicely made. ;-)
