If you remove the black murders from the USA crime stats and then recalculate the murder rate, you'll find that USA actually has less murders per capita than most European countries.
In 2010 the US population was 308 million and the black population was at about 42 million (including mixed). So the US population minus blacks would have been about 266million. Having already established that there were 15,094 murders in 2010 we can conclude that among all population groups in the US the murder rate is arround 4.88 per 100,000 people. If we minus the known black murders from that the murder rate becomes 3.49 per 100,000 people.
@dumuh 3.49 is still more than triple the murder rate of my country. It's around the same level as countries like Albania and Serbia, countries that are still very much shaped by recent dictatorships and wars.
Now going on the estimation that blacks commit about 50% of unsolved murders, the murder rate in the US now becomes 2.7 per 100,000 people. So while my initial statement that the murder rate would be lower than most European countries isn't entirely true. The point still stands that blacks drive the murder rate up significantly in the US. If we were to remove the hispanic population from this I'm quite sure the murder rate would fall to UK or Ireland levels.

Cops don't profile based on race alone. They look at all factors and its not like they're doing it because they're racist. They've been catching criminals for a living and they know what they look and act like.

I'd also like to add that there has been black serial killers, but for some reason they are not as well publicised. A few things to keep in mind before I start this.
1. In the USA the majority of the "Hispanic" population regardless of actual race is considered white.
2. In 2010 there were 15,094 murders in the USA; of these blacks are known to have committed at least 38% of them.
3. About 28% of murders in the USA are by perpetrators unknown.
So bearing in mind that blacks consistently commit about 53% of all murders per annum we can estimate that they commit 50% of unsolved murders.

In 2010 the US population was 308 million and the black population was at about 42 million (including mixed). So the US population minus blacks would have been about 266million. Having already established that there were 15,094 murders in 2010 we can conclude that among all population groups in the US the murder rate is arround 4.88 per 100,000 people. If we minus the known black murders from that the murder rate becomes 3.49 per 100,000 people.

Now going on the estimation that blacks commit about 50% of unsolved murders, the murder rate in the US now becomes 2.7 per 100,000 people. So while my initial statement that the murder rate would be lower than most European countries isn't entirely true. The point still stands that blacks drive the murder rate up significantly in the US. If we were to remove the hispanic population from this I'm quite sure the murder rate would fall to UK or Ireland levels.

Cops don't profile based on race alone. They look at all factors and its not like they're doing it because they're racist. They've been catching criminals for a living and they know what they look and act like.

It happens all around us; policemen here will follow a group of young male kids at night, it is not then age or sex discrimination, it's because groups of young males at night are known to cause trouble here.

This also doesn't explain why blacks also commit white collar crime at a rate far greater than whites, doubt that as anything to do with poverty.

@eieCrackpot? He's completely rational, if you have evidence that black people are commiting more crimes for whatever reason, you have to follow the evidence. That doesn't mean you should completely overlook white people in your investigation however. I'd also like to add that there has been black serial killers, but for some reason they are not as well publicised. White serial killers are generally smarter aswell meaning they can get away with their crimes longer before they are finally caught.

@UnyieldingDefiance I meant to criticize his attempt to connect higher rates of crime among blacks to diminished intellect, not simply his point that blacks commit more [non-white-collar] crime. He's not taking into account the effect growing up poor without a father figure or other role model and with few lucrative opportunities has on a young man's behaviors. Could it be that higher [non-white-collar] crime rates among African Americans is in some part due to cognitive shortcomings? (cont.)

@eier Maybe, but completely ignoring the 'nurture' aspect in favor of 'nature' for this argument is unwise. One need only look at the data on immigrants to the USA from Africa (yes, SUBSAHARAN AKA BLACK Africa) to see that these people can be very successful in intellectually demanding careers if given the opportunity to study here. Now, are these simply the cream of the crop as far as Africans go, or could your average African in Africa accomplish as much given the same opportunities? IDK...

Umm like it or not blacks are given extra points on tests to help them pass and all are aware of this so ummmmmmmm whites are more inteligent ,, I am half black and I simply state what we all know to be so..Back in Highschool all the blacks including black teachers failed the SSAT test so they had to bring it down a few notches for the blacks, so in all reality blacks are reason our education has fallen so badly.. I am sorry for whom this ofends but its just the way it is.
